  1. hi joey!

    1. I’m so loving Sephora which brought in so many new brands like UD, bliss and TwoFaced!
have to spend at least an hour exploring the place whenever I pass by!
    2. I’m using the UD NAked palette right Now and is loving the intense pigmentation and the buttery texture!!! loving the UD eye primer too! loving the clarisonic brush as well!
    3. would love love love to have Jill stuart here in Singapore! absolutely love their packaging! and also have heard lots about Nars and Giorgio Armani (their foundation!)

  2. (1) New brands make the world smaller, we don’t have to go other countries to get stuff that Sg used to not bring in.
    (2) Soap & Glory, by far, in terms of the range and affordability, and works well too, most of the products I have tried. Exploring By Terry now… though it is not really a new brand!
    (3) Nars Nars Nars, and also Inglot!

    Thanks Joey!

  3. Hi Joey! Thanks for the giveaway!

    (1) I am grateful that Sephora has brought in so many new brands, thus allowing us consumers to have better accessibility. I hope that Sephora will bring in more brands, for makeup junkies like myself!
    (2) Amazing conealer is amazing in terms of belndability and coverage! I am discovering Soap & Glory right now. I want to try the whole range!
    (3) NARS! And Giorgio Armani!

  4. 1) I don’t really know any new brands in Sg because I don’t go to Sephora that often! I did head to a sale today and there was Physician’s Formula on sale! I got to know about it through Youtube and have been dying to try so I got one. Happy that UD got to Sg though!
    2) I’m currently using the UD Black Palette. Great pigmentation but plenty of fallouts. Kinda irritating but still exploring how I can minimise that.
    3) I don’t know.. Hoping for cheaper drugstore makeup like Physician’s Formula cuz I heard their gel liner rocks!

  5. (1) Thanks to Sephora, we’ve got new brands comin’ in every now and then. That’s how I got the chance to try out Urban Decay makeup and got “hooked” since. Another interesting brand imo will be Soap & Glory. I fell in love with the scent almost immediately !

    (2) I’ve discovered eye primers. I didn’t know such makeup stuff exist until Urban Decay and Too Faced came to Sg. Very noob I know hahas. I’m now exploring this brand called Hourglass which has awesome prism duo e/s ! Their products are more expensive than high-end brands like Chanel, Dior. But it helps that Sephora has sale every now and then. I bought the e/s at Sephora sale (BOGO).

    (3) Jill Stuart, Lavshuca, Integrate, Sleek, Addiction, Candy Doll, Magie Deco, Melliesh, Illamasqua, NARS, etc :p

  6. (1) The new brands in Sg means we dont have to always rely on buying from overseas and online, but then sometimes when the brand reaches our shoes, the prices tend to be wayyy high.

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring? Too faced, Simplysiti and Soap & Glory…Still trying, trying to love :)

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future? NARS, and No7 by boots.. also those drugstore brands that Walmart and Target carries :)

Thanks Joey! And I love Ur blog!

  7. 1. With all these new brands within easy access, I can personally feel and try out/swatch products before buying stuff which helps me to make the right purchase for myself. Furthermore, I do not have to wait for shipping time and will be able to get items immediately! :)

    2. Soap and Glory! Because they have affordable (some even cheaper than TBS) products like their body scrubs and lotions. I’m also saving up for the famous UD Naked palette that is relatively new in SG and of course waiting for it to be back in stock (again!).

    3. I would love to see NARS, Philosophy, Kat Von D and Laura Mercier being sold here! And possibly more US/UK drugstore makeup brands like Covergirl, Physicians’ Formula, Wet n Wild etc in Watsons?

  8. (1) Share your thoughts about the new brands in Singapore
I love that Sephora recently brought in Tokidoki and it was so popular that it ran out of stock so quickly.

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring?
Sleek Products and Cream blushes! I have recently started collecting Sleep E/s pallettes and I lovee how pigmented they are. Their blushes are amazing too! I have recently ventured into trying out cream blushes and I have to say I love my Virgin isle CCB. :D

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future?
Sleek Cosmetics, Nars, Sonia Kashuk and Lush!

  9. HI Joey
    (1) I love it..instead of with standard departmental brand names, like clinique, lancome etc..we get new, quality brand names like urban decay
    (2) Soap and glory products are so affordable with nice smell..I hope to explore more skin care ranges..
    (3) NARS definitely

    3) Laura Mercie, NARS, Integrate, Lavchuca, Illamasqua

  11. 1) Honestly, I haven’t been keeping up well with the new products but I am very much aware of the existence of Soap & Glory & Tony Moly after reading blog entries regarding it. Personally, I think it is good that Singapore is slowly bringing these brands in so we can see the products in real life and make our decisions without having regrets afters.

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring?

    (3) I would have loved to see wet n wild- as I’ve been longing for their eyeliners. And NARS! I was a little disappointed that you guys didn’t have NARS, as NARS is very very over priced at home, I did want to get some NARS eye shadows! ermm … what else – illamasqua polishes would be nice to have in Singapore (and Adelaide)

thanks Joey for posing these questions! Overall, I enjoyed Singapore, you guys still have more than what we have here in Adelaide. :)

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future: NARS for sure. Despite all the rave reviews, I need to see the blushes in person before shelling out the money for them

  22. 1) I think it’s great that Singapore is bringing in so many new brands to Sephora and other places like Watsons and SASA because sometimes its such a hassle to ship those products from overseas ): Also, I personally prefer to be able to swatch a product directly to see if it suits my skin colour instead of depending on picture swatches online..Of all the new products i’ve seen..Urban decay eyeshaow palettes sets impressed me the most. Both packaging and product deserve an A++ :)

    (2) I discovered BLISS and i’m loving majority of their products esp the Triple oxygen instant energizing mask and the Steep clean mattifying toner pads! I like that bliss skincare products have a citrus scent which is very refreshing and pleasant compared to some other brands

Thanks for this giveaway Joey! You’re gorgeous(inside and out) :D xx

  23. (1) I think it’s great Sephora, Sasa and Watsons are importing new brands into Singapore. We can test the products and still buy them online for cheaper ie Benefit.
    (2) Korres, I love their lip and body butters. So yummy!
    (3) Giorgio Armani, Illamasqua and Becca which exited Singapore again recently.

  24. Hello!

    (1) I think having more brands allow us to experiment and this makes it very appealing for those who have yet to find something they cannot live without. Having different choices is always good. But of course, that also means burning a hole in one’s pocket if you’re the type who can’t resist buying new products :p

    (2) I discovered Urban Decay products through makeup tutorials on YouTube and I must say, I’m quite impressed with the primer potion. I bought Sephora’s Sculpting Disk around a month ago and I’ve been using it almost on a daily basis.

    (3) Currently, I’m crazy about nail polish, I wish Singapore has Butter London and Rescue Beauty Lounge. Oh and I’m hoping LUSH opens an outlet here or something!

  25. Hello!

Mak asked me to join the giveaway! So i’ll give it a try!

    (1) New brands = more cosmetics to purchase. More variety to choose. More make up to mix and match! More make up to add into my collections! ^__^

    (2) What i’ve discover? Korean cosmetics. Recently, i’m into korean cosmetics. Before that I always purchase japanese cosmetics. Ever since the currency went up, i switch to korean cosmetics. All thanks to my sister, influence me with korean skincare products and cosmetics. Well, only japanese and korean skincare works well for my skin. >_<

I would say BB cream works better on my skin than foundations (some european and US brands don't work on my skin). Whenever i use foundation, i will have break outs, even those medicated one. Ever since my sis got me a bb cream from korea, i'm free of break outs. Korean face powder is really light and stays very long, and does not oxides. I recommend Ohui luminating powder, Clio face powder (case is cute) and VOV DJ Mascara.

    (3) I wish Singapore has more Korean skincare products. Like Ohui and Clio. Japanese brands like Kesalan Patharan, Lavshuca by Kanebo, Visee by Kose. Jill Stuart too!

Last but not least, i do use MAC, VS make up, Bobbi Brown and some European brands. Mainly shadows or mascara.

    Thank you!

  26. (1) Share your thoughts about the new brands in Singapore
I’m from KL, Malaysia and as you know our first Sephora will be opening soon this year. All this while, everytime I visited Singapore, i will always stop by Sephora. I like Sephora in SG carried brand like Urban Decap, Bare Essentuals . I really hope they can bring in new brand like Bath & Body Works, Nars, Barry M, Cover Line in SG or even MY…

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring?
I have recently got the Wet & Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Silent Treatment from a friend that just came back from US and I recently got my first ever Nars Blush – Gilda that I got at Bangkok Airport.. Loving them more more each day!!

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future?
I really hope they can bring in new brand like Bath & Body Works, Nars, Barry M, Cover Girl, Wet & Wild, Becca, No.7 in SG or even MY…

    Thanks Joey,

    xoxo,
    Pearly

  27. (1) Share your thoughts about the new brands in Singapore
The one place i often go to when scouting for new brands would be Watsons. They have been bringing in more and more Japanese and Korean brands, such as Heroine Make and Skin79. These are great offerings, as their skin tone is much closer to ours, so most products suit us better. I love that Sephora is also bringing in more and more brands, such as Soap and Glory, at such an affordable price too!

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring?
I have recently discovered and am exploring different finishes that one can use for their face. Loose powders such as Maybelline’s dream matte is great for a matted-finish, while glow powder pearls by Skin79 and The Body Shop help illuminate the face. I’ve also purchase the DFS exclusive sets of Guerlain Meteorites to try out! The different coloured pearls help even out the skin tone, provide a natural flush, and brings out the inner radiance of the face :)

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future?
Physician’s Formula! does that count? they use to stock it in Singapore but pulled out over a decade ago? I always stock up on their healthy wear foundation as well as their shimmer strips, which are incredibly versatile and one can create endless looks with them!

Lush, Philosophy, Bath and Body Works. Because i love smelling pretty after a shower, and both of these brands make great shower gels and shampoos that smell delish!

  28. (1) Share your thoughts about the new brands in Singapore
I’ve loved Urban Decay even before it came to Singapore and am so pleased that I’m now able to buy it off the shelf here and swatch products first hand! I also really love how Watsons has brought in so many new makeup and skincare brands and have really enjoyed trying products from Majolica Majorca, Kate, Rimmel, Ecotools and so on.

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring?
Discovered Too Faced Shadow Insurance from Sephora which has replaced UDPP as my favourite eye primer! I’m also ‘shopping my stash’ and trying out a bunch of products which I haven’t used for ages (Benefit Georgia, Laura Mercier’s Crushed Hazelnut) as well as trying new mascaras (I like Diorshow Iconic and Lancome Virtuouse best for now!).

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future?
I’d really love to see Illamasqua here because their products look like they’re of really great quality. NARS would also be another one I’d love to see, and Max Factor on the drugstore side because I like their affordable and good mascaras.

  29. (1) Share your thoughts about the new brands in Singapore
I found new brands are more creative and bold in their products’ packaging.

    (2) What have you discovered and which are the products you are currently exploring?
I am currently into Laneige. I realised their Water Sleeping Pack_EX is really good for moisturising while sleeping. I applied a thin layer and the next morning, I do not have breakout. I’m using their Satin Finish Loose Powder too. It is natural and makes my face matte. I’m exploring MAC’s lipsticks now. Too many nice colours to choose from!

    (3) What brands you wish to see in Singapore in the near future?
    NARS
