I first learnt about this collection on Rouge Deluxe (refer to her reviews, comparisons and looks using Shelly Ocean and Vacation Ocean here and here) and have quickly fallen in love with the Shelly Ocean Ocean Scene Eyes. The Ocean Scene Eyes is a range of eyeshadow palettes which consists of 4 colours that captures the various aspects of the ocean. These eyeshadows also adopts Soft Powder Formula, which delivers a moist, smooth texture and recreates the ocean’s wateriness and clarify with Ocean Nuance Colours. They create highly translucent and wet-looking eyes.

Didn’t get a chance to pop by Lunasol until mid last week and I am very glad I went.

Ocean Scene Eyes in EX 01 Shelly Ocean includes 4 very pigmented and buttery eyeshadows in colours taupe, gold, beige and deep brown. A very versatile palette for both day and night looks. I reckon these colours will also go well on most skin tones. Very classic and of great quality. It comes in a very lightweight compact and holds 7g of product at the price of S$77.
The lovely “Lunasol” on the colours itself, is a overspray – gone within the first application.

The Full Glamour Liquid Lips caught my attention too. Each retails at S$46 and contain 3.7g of product. Comes with a slightly slated doe foot applicator. I got them in shades EX 01 Clear Beige and EX 02 Clear Coral Pink. These colours have a rather iridescent sheen (almost undetectable) which is very pretty under the light.

Swatches above taken indoor without flash - natural sunlight and swatches below taken indoor with flash. All eyeshadow colours swatched on bare arm, without any primer.

So, here it is, my first Lunasol purchases. I am very impressed with the eyeshadows and happy with the colour payoff. Will do a look featuring some of these products soon.
Thank you for reading.
I’m embarassed to say I have never heard of Lunasol. I guess that’s the downside of living in Scandinavia
Shades in the quad looks slightly similar to the Chanel Holiday 2010 palette (Tentations Cuivree). The texture for the liquid lips looks really good. Enjoy your new makeup!
Now that you know about Lunasol, you can start exploring them =)
Lol.. Are they available where you are?
Unfortunately not
Maybe on my next trip to Malaysia I shall take a peek.
Cool =)
Something to look forward to!!
Why didn’t you get the Vacation Ocean too?
That one really pops!
I really like the Vacation Ocean palette but blue doesn’t really look good on me ~~
the lipglosses are pretty!
