I am starting to develop some dark spots around my cheeks and forehead. Or rather, they have always been there but I have just realized their existence? I have never tried any whitening products before and I am not really into being fair (think along Japanese and Korean girls) because I can’t, I am naturally quite tan and have always been a medium shade.
I always have the impression that whitening products will alter my complexion shade but now, I would like to think that they help brighten up my skin tone and erase dark spots and minimize the appearance of acne marks.
So, I took the advantage of Shiseido’s current GSS Promotions and got myself the Intensive Brightening Set which includes a full-size White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum, White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam W (50ml), White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener W (75ml) and 2 sheets of White Lucent Intensive Brightening Masks. All these at the price of S$159 – which is the actual price of the White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum alone.
Getting the deluxe samples is a great way to try out the range which I am planning to start in July.
Apart from the Intensive Brightening Set, I also picked up the Brightening Spot-Control Base UV SPF 35 in Ivory.
It comes in 3 shades. It contains m-Tranexamic Acid, a powerful active whitening ingredient which effectively helps prevent and diminish dark spots. It also protects the skin from spot-forming factors while controlling skin color imperfections for a perfectly radiant finish. Retails at S$75 for 30ml of product.
I am getting really excited about these whitening products I got. I can’t wait to start using them and see the results.
