Last but not least, I have the Dior Addict Lipstick in 214 Tulle for you this morning. I am not entirely sure if it’s part of Dior’s Fall makeup collection (was introduced together with the collection tho) but I believe it’s a new shade. Anyway, doesn’t the Dior Addict Lipstick deserves some attention? The packaging is simply iconic and stylish. I don’t mind having 10 of them in my purse.
It contains 3.5g of product and is made in France. Retails at S$42.

I would describe the Dior Addict Lipstick in 214 Tulle as a warm, mid-tone beige with a coral undertone. This colour is suitable for daily wear and I find it totally wearable for all occasions as well. You can add a little drama with a pair of smoky eyes.
I am not very familiar with the Dior Addict Lipsticks as they launched during the period when I was drawn to Chanel’s newly released Rouge Coco Shine.
Based on the Dior Addict Lipsticks I have, they are similar in texture to Lancome Color Fever Dewy Shine Lipsticks and Chanel Rouge Coco Shines – all provides a smooth application and glossy finish. However, I feel that the Dior Addict Lipsticks and Chanel Rouge Coco Shines have a more even colour distribution.
Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani is creamier in texture and is more opaque. MAC Lustre Lipsticks has a similar sheen but lack the glossy finish and silky texture.
I have pulled out several shades and formula from various other brands to give you an idea of the colour.

I wouldn’t say that the Dior Addict Lipstick in 214 Tulle is a unique shade but it can just be the perfect beige one is looking for – like the perfect nude, neither too pale nor too bright.
214 Tulle has less rose as compared to MAC Hug Me and less pink as compared to Giorgio Armani 102. It’s somewhere in between Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Biarritz (less brown) and Liberte (less orange).
Have you tried any Dior Addict Lipsticks before? What are your thoughts about them? I will create a look featuring all the Dior products, hopefully over the weekend if I am not too busy with my family visiting. Remember to check out the collection at Robinsons Centre Point – said to be available island wide in August.
Thank you for reading.
