Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss In Black Honey

The legendary Black Honey hue by Clinique that appears different on everyone, yet flattering on all – has arrived. Did you mentioned to pick one up? Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Black Honey is part of The New Black Makeup Collection and it is said to have very limited quantities. The last time I checked, it has already been sold out at Takashimaya.

Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Black Honey comes in a tube which contains 15ml of product, made in USA. It retails at S$26, available at all Clinique counters island wide.

Although the colour may seem very dark, almost gothic in the tube, it applies rather sheer. I love the shine – makes my lips look fuller instantly. I am also impressed with the texture, very smooth and almost jelly-like. It is not sticky and it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. I am able to achieve up to 4 hours of comfortable wear – without eating.

Another reason I am so in love with the Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Black Honey is of course, the colour. This deep, berry hue can be layered on top of any lipstick colour to deepen it. And it can also be worn on its own.

I have done a little demonstration above by layering the gloss over a nude pink lipstick – it added a tad more depth to the colour and it’s totally adjustable. If you like it softer, apply less gloss.

Overall, I am loving it.
