My Thoughts
Each sample sachet can be used on approximately 3 separate occasions but it would be so much more convenient if it comes in a tube or bottle. An opened sachet can be messy and/or difficult to store and is prone to contamination so I always try to apply as much as I can – through to my neck. If my boyfriend happens to be around, I will get him to apply too so the sample is not wasted.
I remember the first time I tried the Shiseido Multi-Defense UV Protector SPF 50 PA+++ on, it’s so watery and light, doesn’t feel like I am wearing anything at all. It blends into my skin very well and because the consistency of this sun screen is so watery and light, blending was easy. I also like the fact that this sun screen comes with a high SPF 50 PA+++ – enough protection for sunny Singapore.
Although I love the Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF 40 (reviewed here), I might love this more.
I feel that this sun screen is less oily then the Clarins one I am using. It doesn’t smell as great but they are both very comparable. It’s very hard for me to pick one.

Will I Purchase Shiseido Multi-Defense UV Protector SPF 50 PA+++ in full size?
Yes, this will be the next sun screen. I recommended this sun screen to my sister, she loves it so much, she is going to get one for her friend to try.
This is part of my Sample Testing Series where I try samples and answer the final question – learn more about the series here.
Thank you for reading.
Hi Joey, when you’re using this sunscreen, do you have to blot every few hours like the Clarins one? I am currently using Clarins too and i like it, but am willing to try out other options
Thanks.
Hi Rachel,
The Shiseido one seems to be less oily and I don’t blot as often!!
I like using the Clarins one on its own but the Shiseido one is great under makeup =)
Thanks for the review! I love Shiseido sunscreens!
You are most welcome Jamilla =)
