Product Description

Benefit claims that this mascara will create ultra black, full and voluminous lashes with its famously big, bodacious brush. This mascara is also the winner of 2010 Daily Candy – best mascara and 2010 Elle Top 5 Awards – best mascara.

My Thoughts

I don’t particularly fancy mascaras that come with big brushes because I find it difficult to apply and that the mascara tends to get everywhere. It could be due to my small eyes, not entirely sure. But since I have the sample, why not? Despite the bigger brush applicator, I had no problems with the application – could be due to dryer consistency.

I like the opacity and density of this mascara. It coats every layer of my lashes evenly and adds volume to my lashes instantly – very natural looking lashes. However, I experienced some smudging around the corners of my eyes half way through the day – especially when I am outdoors.

Will I Purchase Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara in full size?

No, even though I like wearing it under my false eyelashes, I won’t purchase the full size. There are many mascaras out there which can be worn under falsies and still look fantastic when worn alone – without the problem of smudging.
