Guerlain Terracotta La Sélection de L’été Makeup Palette

Boarding time for my flight from Perth was slightly delayed and I had approximately 30 minutes to spare. I walked around the shops hoping to find something unique and I came across this palette.

The Guerlain Terracotta La Sélection de L’été Makeup Palette houses a Face Powder and 4 Eyeshadows in a bronze polished compact similar to the packaging of Blush G Serie Noire. Very classy and luxury as always. This palette also comes with a face brush and a sponge applicator.

Retails at AUD75 which is about S$98, contains 9g of Face Powder and 4.5g of Eyeshadow, made in France.

Top tier shows the Face Powder – Bronze and Sculpt. The lower tier shows 4 Eyeshadows in Khaki, Sand, Brown and Gold.

I think colour of the bronzer goes on very well with my skin tone and the darker strip of sculpting powder is perfect for contouring. I don’t usually contour my face or use bronzer but the whole idea of adding some warmth to my skin after applying foundation is growing on me.

Having said that, its end of Spring, close to Summer in Australia now and I got influenced by the beautiful bronzed skin most of the BAs had. Beautiful and timeless for Singapore’s weather.

The eyeshadows in the palette are amazing. The texture is creamy and soft, colour payoff is fabulous.

Overall, the Guerlain Terracotta La Sélection de L’été Makeup Palette is very versatile and the shades are extremely wearable. For the price, I think it’s such a steal.

Thank you for reading.

  1. These colours are gorgeous. I was hunting for the Fall collection Rouge Automatique 169 at duty free in Frankfurt but they were out of stock. Didn’t see this travel exclusive one, but the colours will look amazing on you :)

  2. Hello Joey Chong!

Got ask, can you tell me the number of the bronzer? I mean, i usually use alternate with number 3 or 4… I’m afraid it might be too fair for my skin tone!

    Thanks :)
