On Day 6 of our trip, we left Margaret River and drove back to Perth. It was quite a long journey but Kwinana Freeway Nº2 made our journey a lot easier. We had lunch at the Woodpecker’s Woodfired Pizzeria located on Hay St, Subiaco – a quite town very near to the city.
Little niece enjoying her porridge and wedges at the restaurant. We ordered quite a lot of food – starter, spaghetti, pizzas and dessert. Their pizzas and desserts are worth trying as they have a wide variety of toppings to choose from.
Took a scroll along Hay Street, it was getting a little too hot during our last couple of days in Perth. I guess summer was moving in fast – very drying and the heat and be unbearable in the afternoon.
Our rented apartment in Perth is located in Kensington – a very convenient site if driving. It’s approximately 15 minutes away from the city and about 10 minutes away from Garden City.
Scarf from H&M, mustard cardigan from Love, Bonito.
During on of the nights, we had our dinner at the Toto Vietnamese Restaurant located along the Albany Highway at East Victoria Park. This famous Vietnamese restaurant is packed – either you go early or call to make a reservation. We walked in and had 1 hour to finish our meal because the table was booked. Accordingly to the people working around that area, they love eating at Toto.
If you like Vietnamese food, try Toto. The food is delicious – everything we order tastes very good. And don’t forgot to order some coffee too.
Are there any great dining places you would recommend for visitors to Perth?
