Last week, Shu Uemura held a media event at The Arts House showcasing a few products which will be launched next year. Here is a little sneak peek at Shu Uemura’s latest offerings for 2012.

Shu Uemura will launch a new instant brightening ultra-light mousse base which is as efficient as a whitening essence. This mousse base claims to brighten skin and reduce pore visibility in just 4 weeks. Together with the new mousse base, Shu Uemura will also release a new efficient whitening cleansing oil.
The new Whitefficient Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil will retail at S$155 for 450ml and S$55 for 150ml. The new UV Under Base Brightening Mousse SPF 30 PA+++ in Pink Purple will retail at S$80 for 50g. For swatches of the mousse base, please head over to Everbluec.
Shu Uemura also presented their newest foundation, the Face Architect Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation which I have introduced here.

At the event, Shu Uemura had compiled milestones of all their UV Under Base and Cleansing Oil. I find it extremely interesting to see how both the legendary products evolved through the years – from packaging to its formulas. From the UV Under Base series, I could only remember the packaging from 2006 onwards and I could only remember the Cleansing Oil from 1996.
What about you?

A very pleasant surprise, Shu Uemura also showcased their Celestial Garden Makeup Collection For Spring 2012 during the event. I was naturally drawn to the colourful display of products.

A makeup demonstration by the elite team of makeup artists at Shu Uemura created two looks as follows.

Details of the Whitefficient Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil, UV Under Base Brightening Mousse SPF 30 PA+++ in Pink Purple and Celestial Garden Makeup Collection For Spring 2012 coming soon.
