A look featuring Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 35 Rives (reviewed here) today. The palette has quickly became one of my favourite because the colours are so wearable. I would wear this look for a meeting, tea with girlfriends or even for an event. If you wish, you can switch the lips to a bolder colour for more drama.
Nail colour from Deborah Lippmann – Dancing In The Night (more swatches here).
For face: Gave my skin some extra moisture with Clinique Moisture Surge followed by Chanel La Blanc de Chanel Sheering Illuminating Base - love the smell. I am using Chanel Perfection Lumiére for this look and set my foundation with Chanel Vitalumiére Éclat. I also highlighted parts of my face with Chanel Poudre Lumiére Perlée Pearl Glow Powder.
For eyes: Went in straight with the colours from Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 35 Rives. Applied beige all over my lids, white under my brow bones and inner corners of the eyes to brighten them up. Before continuing with rest of my eyeshadow application, I applied a brow eyeliner along my lash line – blend the edges with the dark brown. Followed by using the middle brown to blend all colours together.
I lined my water line with Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof in 86 Beige Clair and applied dark brown to my lower lash line. Soften the edges with middle brown. This will create a very soft smoky effect. I also applied a little white eyeshadow to the inner lower lash line.
Finish the eyes with some mascara and false eyelashes.
For cheeks & lips: I paired this look with the blush that came together – Chanel Joues Contraste in 69 Fleur de Lotus, a very gorgeous coral-pink shade. Kept the lips simple by filling in with Chanel Le Crayon Lévres in 36 Beige and a thin layer of Chanel Aqualumiére in 80 Alizé.
Thank you for looking, I hope you like this look.

.
Which shade of the perfection lumiere are you wearing?
Thank you so much Nawi =)
I am wearing 20 Beige for Perfection Lumiere..
This look is really nice – very subtle yet polished.
I love the Deborah Lippmann nail polish. I wish she’d release it in full size
Hi Fieran,
Thank you so much!!
I am totally in love with this colour, I think I need a back-up but sadly, it doesn’t come in full size =(
Aw. Maybe buy another one of those miniatures then. But you know, if there is anybody who knows what her customers like, it’s Deborah Lippmann. She just might release it in full size eventually. You should tweet her
I hope she does!!
This nail colour is in her Holiday trio..
You used mostly Chanel products!
I kinda like to do that too, One day I’ll do a almost all Chanel look or Burberry look. Rives look beautiful, may I ask how is the texture and pigmentation like? I love Fleur de Lotus too and I think it looks amazing on your cheeks. Great look!
Thank you Jacqueline =)
It’s quite hard to use everything from 1 brand and Chanel is probably the only brand I can do that with..
Texture is smooth, like most Chanel Quad but Topkapi is still the smoothest..
Pigmentation is good, more swatches >> http://joeychong.wordpress.com/2012/02/23/chanel-les-4-ombres-quadra-eyeshadow-in-35-rives/
