Benefit Hervana

A quick requested entry on Benefit Hervana - the latest addition to their range of Box O’ Powder. In this post, I will be sharing some swatches on my arm as well as wearing it – and my new hair cut!!

This product is listed as 1 of my 5 all time favourites last month – click here if you have missed it.

Benefit Hervana consists of four shades – lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose and berry delight. When swirled together, it gives you the most natural looking glow and colour on the cheeks. For me, it’s the perfect every day blush because it has an equal amount colour and sheen – I can pair this blush with many different lip colours.

The packaging of Benefit Hervana is similar to the one of Bella Bamba. The cardboard box is light, sturdy and flips open with a magnetic closure. It comes with a mirror and an angled brush. I am enjoying Benefit’s new Box O’ Powder packaging a lot, it’s more convenient to use.

The shades appear rather matte but under direct sunlight, you can see the tiny sparkles glisten – very tiny, almost unnoticeable when worn and that’s what creates the natural sheen without emphasizing pores.

The texture is very light and finely milled – it blends very neatly onto the skin too. The colour doesn’t really show up as pigmented on my arm as on my cheeks – I guess my arms are slightly darker than my face. The texture is also quite powdery but it doesn’t create a storm.

In the set of pictures above, I was wearing only Benefit Hervana. You can apply a cream base underneath this blush for a more intense colour payoff. I would say that the colour payoff is just enough for natural looking cheeks, nothing too pigmented. It can definitely be layered or built up.

The Overview

Benefit Hervana has been my daily go-to colour for a couple of weeks now and I am still enjoying it. Whether I have a pair of dramatic smoky eyes or natural eye makeup, strong lips or natural lips, this blush flatters and brings everything together.

I love it, I think everyone should have at least a go-to natural shade of blush in their stash – a blush that you know will not go wrong. And that’s exactly how I feel about having Benefit Hervana in my stash.

I would recommend this product to

If you are looking for a natural blush that gives you a healthy, natural glow – this could be what you are looking for. Or if you are looking into getting a Benefit Box O’ Powder to try, this is one of my favourite shades. I wouldn’t say it’s unique as I believe there are many blushers alike tho.

  1. I am a big fan of Benefit since it is a local brand from San Francisco. I have this powder and it is really gorgeous on the skin when the colors are swirled together. I am glad the brand has become quite a phenomenon worldwide.

      • Yeah i’m thinking that too but i have to buy few things so the shipping wont be too expensive. Any other Benefit products that you recommend?

        • Hi Monica,
          Bella Bamba is beautiful =)
Have you tried Powderflage? I have recently reviewed it and their Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow/Liner are awesome – Flatter Me, Skinny Jeans and Birthday Suit..
I love their Magic Ink liquid eyeliner and Lemon Aid eyelid primer too xoxo
