Lancôme Lipsticks

About a month ago, my order from Nordstrom arrived. In the parcel, there were three Lancôme lipsticks.

I am really excited about them because I randomly chose the shades, I didn’t know what to expect. And they are in special packaging too. Unlike the usual Lancôme lipsticks, these comes in petite metal casing with great, delicate details – almost vintage like.

Presenting Le French Touch Gourmand Color Bare Lips Sensation in 316 Soft Marshmallow, Le French Touch Absolu Cult Rouge Silky Cream in 314 Rouge Saint-Honoré and Rouge In Love High Potency Lipcolor in 391 Fiery Attitude.

The cult packaging of Le French Touch Absolu is inspired by Lancôme’s heritage – isn’t it beautiful?

Although they are smaller than the usual lipsticks in terms of height, the Le French series contains 3.7g of product, Rouge In Love contains 3.4g – similar to Bobbi Brown lipsticks.

The original plan was to showcase them in the antique lipstick holder my aunt gave me for my birthday last year. But, they didn’t fit so I would have to find somewhere else/something else to display them.

A quick recap on the lipsticks and collection they were originally released with;-

  • Le French Touch Gourmand Color Bare Lips Sensation in 316 Soft Marshmallow [Spring 2012]
  • Le French Touch Absolu Cult Rouge Silky Cream in 314 Rouge Saint-Honoré [Fall 2010 29 St. Honoré]
  • Rouge In Love High Potency Lipcolor in 391 Fiery Attitude [new range, available in 21 shades]

I am hoping to swatch and review them as soon as I can.

Meanwhile, check out the forever-lovely swatches of all the Rouge In Love on Karla Sugar. The RAEviewer has done a video review on them too, click here to watch.

Thank you for reading.

  1. Hi Joey! I have been eyeing these too! So many new lippies out recently. I’m looking at my ever growing lipstick stash and I told myself better to control myself and make use of what I have first. I am dying to see your swatches, the colours you have chosen look great.
