Lancôme In Love Makeup Collection For Spring 2013

Spring is the season of pure pleasure. Senses awaken while emotions blossom and life is infused with the colour of bright pop pink.

Lancôme captures the colourful wave of spring with the new collection In Love.

Lancôme captures the colourful wave of spring with the new collection In Love. Pop shades drawn from street-art murals and vibrant tones of nature flirting with an urban spirit. The neon glimmer of city signs with the pastel tones of balcony flowers… Springtime hues resonate in time with the pulse of the capital, while emotions stir in resounding vibrancy…

Passion blossoms in all its radiant intensity. In Love tells the electrifying story of a resolutely urban breed of springtime joy. When love is lived in technicolor.

Colourful yet easy to wear for all skin tones. The In Love collection resolutely embraces springtime city style.

Vibrant shades inspired by the light of spring (neon pink and coral predominate, complemented by turquoise and violet) contrast with the luminous pastels of urban nature in abundant renaissance (rose petal, almond green…).

Shades range from daring to soft, from electric to sweetly sensual… No colour combination is off-limits. There’s just one rule: freshness in pure pop hues!

To celebrate the spirit of Parisian springtime, Lancôme reinvents a quintessentially French motif: toile de Jouy.

This renowned cotton fabric created by 18th century artisans in Jouy-en Josas is famed for its unique design of florals, characters and landscapes. Today, Lancôme delights in reinventing this absolute classic with a quirky twist of fun to dress the products from the In Love collection.

Surprise! Alongside the Lancôme rose, make-up products feature in the design: a make-up brush, a lipstick, a little mascara brush… A host of unexpected details play hide and seek with flowers. There’s no doubt about it – this season, the icon of French style confirmed its contemporary freshness.

Ombre In Love in 10 Sugar Rose, 30 Violette Candy and 50 Pistachio Cream – S$36

This ingenious eyeshadow simply brings it all together: softness, finesse, long-wear and a vibrant colour result in a single stroke. In an all-new case adorned with the toile de Jouy motif, Ombre In Love flaunts three shimmering springtime shades.

Blush In Love in 20 Pommettes d’Amour – S$70

Like its case, this brand new vibrant-coloured blush is also adorned with the toile de Jouy motif, enhanced with delicate pearly hints. It comes in two different shade harmonies to flatter every complexion: “Pommettes d’Amour” is a mix of fuchsia and orange offering an instant healthy glow to amber skin tones, as if you’ve just spent a springtime day outdoors. Surprise! The mirror easily slides out of the box so you can keep it in your bag.

Palette In Love in 001 Kaleidoslove – S$84

This eye palette unites the season’s four emblematic Ombres IN Love. Thanks to its combination of pop hues and soft pastels, every makeup style is achievable, from the most natural to the most daring looks.

Baume In Love in 110 Rose Macaron - S$40

Lancôme presents Baume In Love, a brand new comforting formula with Shea Butter. This translucent shade awaken lips’ natural colour for a bitten-lip effect. All the daring of pop hues combined with intense moisture and an incredibly protected feel.

Khôl In Love in 20 Jade Crush – S$30

Especially for spring, Lancôme creates this flashy versions of its star eye pencil. An intense turquoise – the season’s must-have. Perfect to electrify eyes in a single stroke or to coordinate with shades from Ombre In Love for a contrasting look.

UV ExpertS$80

This season’s star motif, toile de Jouy, adorns Lancômes iconic BB Cream. Its unquestionably effective formula provides a sure-fire shield against UV rays (thanks to its SPF 50+ and PA+++ to protect against UVA and UVB). It perfectly unifies the complexion and hydrates skin with its incredibly light texture.

What lies at the heart of the In Love collection is a woman who loves who she is, who knows what is happiness, who embraces a colourful world and who shares her “joie de vivre” with those around her. The epitome of the In Love woman is world-renowned English actress and Lancôme ambassadress Emma Watson.

Born in cosmopolitan Paris, Emma’s extraordinary career has taken her to the four corners of the world. Although having grown up among the dreaming spires of historic Oxford, she resolutely calls London home. Emma chose to complete her education at the prestigious Ivy League institution, Brown University in the United States.

Her taste in film projects in the past few years is typically broad and far-reaching. At the end of last year she played a supporting role in Simon Curtis’ multi-award winning ‘My Week with Marilyn’ and is soon to be seen in the lead role of Sam in the much-anticipated adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s teenage rite of passage film ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’.

2013 will see Emma take lead roles in indie queen Sofia Coppola’s take on the avarice of LA in ‘The Bling Ring’ and in Academy Award nominee Darren Aronofsky’s epic tale of fight and flight in ‘Noah’ which shoots this year on location in Iceland and the United States.

Emma’s favourites from the collection include: Lips enhanced with a hint of Baume In Love in fuchsia, “Rose Macaron”, contrasted with eyes framed by Ombre In Love, “Sugar Rose”, before being finished with a graphic line of Khôl In Love in turquoise, “Jade Crush”. Cheeks are pretty as a picture in vibrant Blush In Love, “Pommettes d’Amour”.
