Hello everyone, I have been shopping – a lot. Both for myself and Christmas presents for family and friends. NARS finally arrived mid-November and during the launch, I bought a few items – from their permanent range as well as their holiday sets.
I haven’t had the luxury of time to play with all of them yet but I am hoping to as soon as I can. Slowly but surely.
From NARS x Andy Warhol, I got the Satellite Of Love Highlighting Blush Powder – S$43, the Photo Booth Nail Set – S$48 and the magnificent Silver Factory Set – S$270.
Swatches and thoughts of Satellite Of Love Highlighting Blush Powder and the Photo Booth Nail Set coming up soon. All sets come with special silver packaging – if you are still looking for a Christmas gift, these are perfectly presentable choices.
The Silver Factory Set includes;-
- NEW Silver Factory Multiple – aluminum
- NEW Shadows Trio Eyeshadow – matte black, bright deep purple, silver
- NEW Chelsea Girls Pure Matte Lipstick – innocent flesh tone beige
- Desire Blush – cotton candy pink
- Via Veneto Larger Than Life Eyeliner – black
- Blush Brush #6
- Large Domed Eyeshadow Brush #13
- Deluxe cosmetics bag
I have not swatched anything from this set yet as I would like to admire the gorgeous pieces for a couple more months.
However, I have tried the brushes and I am loving them. Both are full size items and are available for sale individually. On their first bath, no discoloration nor hair fall occurred. Both brushes are soft and gentle on the face and eyes.
Other than the Photo Booth Nail Set, I also picked up Schiap and Dovima. Many thanks to Mag for Storm Bird. All three of them are nice and creamy with brilliant colour payoff. I love the consistency and these colours are very classic in my opinion.
Each bottle of nail polish retails at S$30.
Lipsticks, lipsticks – I don’t need more lipsticks but this is an exception. These are not just lipsticks but these are the first 12 lipsticks François Nars started his cosmetics line with in 1994.
As a huge fan of lipsticks and NARS, I got to have them all. It took me some time to track all 12 shades. I believe Funny Face, Casablanca and Morocco were not available in Singapore yet – it wasn’t available during launch.
I am seriously excited and I can’t wait to try them out – look at the gorgeous reds and beiges.
Each lipstick retails at S$38.
December has always been a busy month for me – lots of work to finish off, lots of collections to feature and lots of food parties. And lots of shopping.
With rain and gloomy skies almost every day, it’s quite difficult for me to find time for product shoots under natural sun light. Thus, I may have to use my ring light as a substitute. Meanwhile, hope you enjoy all my little updates and reviews.
Thank you for looking.
