Founded in January 2010, joey’space | the old, the new and the unforgotten is a beautiful lifestyle blog featuring The Author’s likes, dislikes, dreams, believes, needs and wants.
Joey’space derives from Joey’s Space which translates perfectly to what this blog is all about.
FEAR LESS, HOPE MORE, EAT LESS, CHEW MORE, WHINE LESS, BREATHE MORE, TALK LESS, SAY MORE, HATE LESS, LOVE MORE AND GOOD THINGS WILL BE YOURS.

LIFE ISN’T ABOUT FINDING YOURSELF. LIFE IS ABOUT CREATING YOURSELF.
Hi, my name is Joey and welcome to Joey’space – a space where I share my journey through life.
I am an Interior Designer, Decorator and a Makeup Artist who loves to travel. I don’t have an incredibly inspiring story to share and I am just an average looking girl next door. Without dressing up, I bet you won’t be able to recognize me on the streets.
And blogging is my way of sharing – my way of sharing if a product works on myself and how it looks on me. Or if that particular restaurant live up to its claims. Or if you need some traveling tips, I may be able to help too.
Making up and dressing up is a big part of me – I guess that’s the luxe side of being a women isn’t it? Looking good makes me feel confident and a little more powerful. Traveling and food are little things I appreciate having in life. Work hard and play harder.
EVERY ACCOMPLISHMENT STARTS WITH THE DECISION TO TRY.

As you may have already noticed, I am not a writer by any means – my spelling and grammar mistakes are all over the place. But I enjoy writing.

You can read about my day-to-day musings from The Journal I keep. Main bulk of the contents in this blog are fashion and beauty related which is what The Look Book is all about. There are sub-categories to help you navigate and find posts easier. Alternatively, you can also use the “search box” located on your top right corner to search for contents on this blog. The Voyage consists of my travels and places I have visited since I started this blog – I try to document as much as I can and hope it helps whoever visiting the destination next.
Ever since I started this blog, I have met many people who shares the same interests. It has been a great pleasure exchanging tips and ideas with one another.
Keeping this blog is really just a hobby I started when I was bored one day. Passion and an “invisible” sense of commitment kept it going. And your continuous support, encouragement and kind compliments drives me to produce higher quality contents and images.
It’s a platform to gather thoughts of similar minds and to keep in touch with people from all over the world.
IF YOU HAVE, GIVE. IF YOU LEARN, TEACH.
Most of the contents (I would say 95% and above) seen on this blog are written by The Author – me.
In most product reviews, I try my best to describe my “intimate relationship” with – the product. From scent to taste and how it has or has not worked on me. Promise me you will take my reviews, recommendations and suggestions with a pinch of salt because what didn’t work on me may work wonders on you.
And of course, I only write what I believe in because it’s really simple – there is nothing deceptive.
Quite often, you will see a string of introductions to new collections, new additions and new products. Most information and images are extracted from press releases as I believe that such posts should contain as much information as possible for us to refer to before purchasing. And we need to understand what the product does and promises, don’t we?
But of course, press releases are after all meant to “sell” the product – usually, I will follow up with a personal review to let you know how I feel about the item.
ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS.
Thank you for visiting this little space of mine. I hope you like what I have in store for you and you enjoy the stay.
Thank you for reading.
