Add Some Modern Friction To Your Body

This is the scrub I die for and craved for – Modern Friction for the body by Origins.

It used to come in a jar which you have to scoop the product either with your fingers or use a spatula. I love their new packaging. Makes scrubbing easier now.I have used it for the past 2 years.

I ran out of it a couple of months ago and since I am moving out from my old apartment and I still have lots of other scrubs to finish, I thought I can live without my Modern Friction for a while. After I shifted, unpacked and wanted a scrub, I knew I needed it back.

Went to the Origins counter but I couldn’t find it. I was in a hurry, didn’t ask and left. I was so sad and that this product has been discontinued.

BUT

Managed to ask the retail assistant today and found out it has changed its packaging – only.

THANK GOD

Why am I so in love with this particular scrub?

Most scrubs nowadays are oil based. I dislike the oil although it moisturizers the skin well. I feel that it is too sticky especially in this humid country. Whenever I use an oil based scrub, I will wash my body once again with a body wash. It simply doesn’t make any sense.

I stumbled upon Modern Friction one day and thought of giving it a try. Woala. I fell in love instantly. It has a creamy, slightly sticky base but once in contact with water, it becomes light and smooth. Best of all, it is made of natural ingredients. I have very sensitive skin so whenever I use sugar or salt scrub, my skin gets itchy and has red patches.

Any of you have the same problem as I do?

Modern Friction is the solution for me. If I can afford and if there is no expiry date, I will buy a dozen to keep just incase Origins discontinue them.

Thank you for reading.
