Beauty Asia is held once a year in Singapore. I was a “model” last year for one of the nail competitions. This year, I am a trade visitor. Let’s take a look at what I bought today.
China Glaze nail vanishes, of course. They are going at S$7.50 each and buy 5 get 1 free deal.
I bought 24 and that makes each nail vanish, S$6.25. Kinda good deal, isn’t it?
Next, I bought a few tools of the trade.
Paper eye mask sheets.
This comes in handy when you need to apply eye ampoule.
By having this sheet of eye mask, ampoule will not drip and this helps to hold your ampoule in place and aid in absorbing.
This sheet of fabric net is real precious.
Took me so long to figure out where to get them.
Maybe I am dumb la.
Well, facial therapies often use this when applying mask on your face.
They mix their own masks so most of the time, these masks are more watery as compared to those we buy off the shelf.
This sheet of fabric net helps to hold the mixture to your face and prevent the mixture from sliding.
Sponges.
I wash my face with sponges.
I also use them to wipe off my facial masks.
1 pack of 12 cost S$30 and buy 1 get 1 free.
Works out to be S$1.25 per sponge.
If you take care of the sponge, it can last up to a month.
I would recommend changing the sponge once a month, two at most as dirt and bacteria gets trapped in the sponge.
You wouldn’t want to wash your face with a dirty sponge, right?
Bought a box of needles too.
These are the needles facial theraphies use to clear black heads, white heads and acne.
The needle is so thin and small, it will barely leave any scares.
Having said that, it differs from skin to skin.
Some of us are more prone to leaving scars and can react differently when using such tools.
For professional use only.
Please do not try this at home.
