Shoppings From Taipei

What did I bring back from my Taipei Trip?

I brought a MINI necklace back.

Our hotel is located near all the wholesale market, picked up some accessories at a reasonable price.

Some are really cute.
Mostly Japanese and Korean trend which is not my cup of tea.

Managed to find a pair of earrings to my liking.

I bought several things from Laura Mercier.

For those who do not know, Laura Mercier is available in Singapore at Takashimaya, True Colours B1-13A.

I am not sure if True Colours carry the entire Laura Mercier range.

First off was their best seller and award-winning product, the Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20.
It’s a sheer, lightweight moisturizer with SPF 20 and a hint of colour that can replace foundation for a more natural and healthy look.

Second was their Foundation Powder.
A wet/dry powder foundation that contains oil control ingredients to hinder shine. It comes with two sponges, one for wet application and the other for dry usage.

To finish off, I went for their Purifying Oil – Rich.
A gentle, light-textured skincare cleanser that removes makeup and impurities while revealing fresh, supple skin.

My gifts from Laura Mercier.
Includes a brooch, eye primer, eye shadow and a face polish.

Next stop was NARS.

I didn’t really know what to get when I was at their counter.
I spent almost half an hour going through their collection trying to find something.

I got 2 of their Duo Eyeshadows in Elsa and Kuala Lumpur , 1 Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Camargue and 2 Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in Bettina and Dolce Vita.

Orgasm Illuminator has just launched during my visit.
Got a sample together with my purchases.

I walked pass Make Up For Ever and spotted their latest product launched.

HD Blush. They had a series of 14 shades if I am not wrong.
I tried some of the colours, they are pretty pigmented.

The range of colours are rather comprehensive.
There is a chart showing how each colour will look on different skin tones.
They definitely have sorted this well.

I am not a big fan of cream blush so I gave this one a miss.

    • Hi dear,
Prices of NARS and LM in Taiwan are comparable to SG but they do tax refund so slightly cheaper.
Shu Uemura is much cheaper in HK for sure =)
