Part 2: Stress Relief Therapy

Part 2 to this entire Stress Relief Therapy is a great excuse to shop. Whether it will help relieve stress or add more stress when credit card bills arrive end of the month is another story.

Meanwhile, it helped.

Met up with Sarah for lunch on Thursday so I can pass her stuffs from Fool’s Quest. After lunch, we did some shopping from MAC’s latest Art Supplies Collection. I bought 3 Pro Longwear Lipstain Markers. A Classic, Purposefully Red and Point Of View.

3 Greasepaint Stick.
Slick Black, Below Ground and Dirty.

Did some more shopping after Sarah left for work.
Got myself another foundation.

Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation in Beige 3.

Bobbi Brown’s Lip Crayon in Wild Rose.
The texture is so smooth and creamy, unlike NARS’ Velvet Matte Lip Pencils I bought in Taiwan.

The range of colours are pretty limited.
If not, I would have bought more.

After getting my nails done on Friday, I went into M)phosis.
You know, I can always find something to buy from them.
That’s really bad.

2 tops, a necklace and a scarf.

More MAC Art Supplies.
3 Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner.

The colours are kinda unique.
I particularly like the reflects of these eye liners.
Almost Noir, Undercurrent and Industrial.

A very late buy from MAC’s Give Me Liberty Of London Collection.

I stopped buying from MAC’s collection for a while as I simply do not have the time. Once I have the time to pop by MAC’s store, the items I want are usually out-of-stock.

Just because the packaging is so pretty.
I bought a Beauty Powder in Shell Pearl and a Tinted Lipglass in A Different Groove.

After trying Chanel’s Rouge Coco from New Zealand, I am up for more.
I like their texture and range of colours.

4 more to be exact.
La Pausa 08, Organdi Rose 09, Secret 03 and Perle 02.

Last stop was La Senza for more undies.
More 5 for S$40 undies.

Tell me about it, why do I need so many undies.

Well, it’s part of the whole therapy, isn’t it?

  1. Joey, how are the lipstain markers? Are they any good? My MAC still had them in stock and I looked at them and was interested but I was in a hurry so didn’t get time to swatch or check them out. Do they stain well? Nice colours?

    Thanks

    • Hi Alexa,

These lipstains probably won’t fall into my must-haves list but there are good to have =)
The darker colours like A Classic and Purposefully Red stains a lot longer and better then the nude, lighter ones.
They do dry up slightly different and bleeds.
Not fantastic on dry, chapped lips.
I am using them as a base for my lipsticks and lipglosses.
      They look amazing.

      Hope it helps =)

      • Great, thanks so much, I think I might just give them a miss and rather go for the beautiful Rouge Coco lipsticks, you chose some gorgeous colours. Did you swatch mademoiselle? I like the idea of buying the signature colour that Vanessa Paradis is wearing 🙂

        • I totally missed mademoiselle to be honest.
          I was too excited =)
Rouge Coco are great, the best part is, there are so many colours.
When you get one, remember to share your thoughts!!
