Look In Night Porter

Something a little to the dark side.
Slightly more dramatic compared to some of the previous looks  I have done.

Was real excited to try on NARS’ eyeshadow in Night Porter with my recent purchase of MAC’s Greasepaint Stick in Dirty as a base.

Apply MAC’s Greasepaint Stick in Dirty all over lids, blend out the edges and lightly pat NARS’ eyeshadow in Night Porter on top, stop slightly below the crease.

Blend eyeshadow upwards to create a fusion of colours between Dirty and Night Porter. Use a shimmery skin tone shadow as highlight. I am using MUA Cosmetics’ Dimensional Shadow in Luminized here.

Apply the same techniques to bottom lash line and line it with a black eyeliner.

Finish off with a nude matte lipstick.

Add on false eyelashes to enhance this look.
As the shadows are already very dramatic, try to go for a set of more natural ones.

  1. Nice sultry smoky eyes, Joey!

NARS night potter is dark & shimmery but really needs something to hang on to, otherwise it could be sheer and wear off quickly, MAC greasepaint is a great choice.

    The smoky looks suits you.

Oh, Happy Birthday by the way.

    • Thank you David.
Night Porter is such a pretty colour.
Was searching for the right base colour for it until I find Dirty.
But it can be a little too creamy for ppl with oily lids.
Maybe a good primer can help.
And thanks for the bday wish!!
