When I travel, I usually don’t transfer shampoo, conditional, face wash or any products I use into smaller containers. There are several reasons why I don’t.

Firstly, I am lazy. Having to transfer products from big bottles to smaller ones and having to wash them after using = too much trouble if you ask me. And I feel that I am actually loosing out more product during the transition process.

Furthermore, it is too convenient to purchase travel sized shampoo and conditional nowadays.

I aim to finish most travel sized products during my travel. So, there is much lesser to pack and make room for my shoppings during my return journey. Most hotels do provide some basic items but I never use them. They make my hair and skin super dry. Unless you are talking about hotels like Ascott, Kuala Lumpur which provide high-quality toiletries.

As for the skincare department, I usually keep all the free samples from various brands. They are so handy. These products may not be the actual products I use daily but I am totally fine changing my routine for a few days.

Most products by FANCL comes in small packaging due to the preservatives-free concept so it is ideal for traveling. But do note their expiry dates and remember to jot down the dates on the sticker provided. I am using FANCL because I am going for another trip beginning of July so the sizes are about right.

My kit measures approximately 22cm (L) x 4.5cm x 14cm (H). Everything fits perfect into the bag with lots of headroom available still.
