I am going Hong Kong for a short trip and it’s summer there so I need to pack a Summer Holiday Makeup Kit.

Several factors affect my makeup kit when I travel. I used to pack anything and everything, almost my entire collection but it’s really pointless, I eventually realised, as I end up using merely half. Overtime, I became smarter. I pack according to a short and straight forward q & a of 3 questions.

a. the country I am visiting and the season during time of visit?
Hong Kong, it’s summer.

b. the number of days I will be there for?
3 days, 2 nights.

c. what I will be doing during my stay?
Eating and shopping, no events, functions or parties to attend.

This will also help me pack my clothes and shoes. Since there will be no events or function to attend, I may not need my heels and/or dresses. Thus, I will not need my false eyelashes and heavy party makeup. And this also narrowed down my selection of colours and products.
