Here are my 5 all time favourites for June.
Make Up For Ever have a very impressive range of products. Amongst them, is their HD line. The HD Concealer works very well with the HD Foundation and Powder. The texture is creamy and it provides medium to full coverage. The rubbery applicator is innovative but serves no blending purpose, I use my fingers.
If you have oily skin and tend to perspire quickly like me, cream products including cream blushers seem like a not-so-wise choice. But the glowy, dewy look is so irresistable this season, so what do I do? I apply my foundation as usual, dab a little Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Cabo Coral on my cheeks, blend and lightly dust some loose powder on top to set.
Dior Crush Glow 659 is such a beautiful palette with incredibly smooth and creamy powder shadows. Got me thinking if I should bring it on another trip. These 5 shades are neither too shimmery nor totally matte which made it so versatile. Perfect for the day and night.
I am not a huge fan of lip glosses. Main reason being its staying power and glosses being sticky. Lucky to have companies nowadays who make lip glosses like Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in Pearl 157. It is not sticky and it gave dimension to my lips. This colour is super wearable. Whenever I am in doubt of a particular formula, I always get neutrals, nudes or barely-there shades. It can’t really go wrong.
The texture of Shu Uemura Painting Liner is creamy and smooth. It’s long wearing and it doesn’t run. I find it very easy to apply and the colour I got in ME Brown is the best alternative to plain jane black. It’s not as strong as black and gave me that subtle definition I needed.
i personally didnt like the hd concealer. ordered it frm sephora last year but it was useless for me. then again ur under eye skin area is 200 times better than mine!!
but i like the rest of the items u mentioned! esp the dior palette! i have the smokey crystal one n LOVE it! ♥
I guess concealer is another very subjective and personal product, like skincare. I have been using La Mer’s The Eye Concentrate for over a year, finally finished it and now trying EL’s Time Zone. When I am back, I will be switching to their Advanced Night Repair Eye.
