False Eyelashes, Shadows & More From Shu Uemura

While I was tidying up my makeup pouch the other day, I realised I have not visited a Shu Uemura counter for a while. Nothing from their colour collection has caught my attention for the longest time.

I popped by Shu Uemura one fine day to stock up my favourite Partial Soft Cross false eyelashes and the ball started rolling. I spent a good half an hour swatching the shadows and blushes. I almost forgot how beautiful their stuffs are.

Have been using these false eyelashes for a long time. Ever since I came across them, I absolutely felt in love with them. They create the most natural, full-lash effect and they are very easy to use.

Sad to say, I have never been a huge fan of Shu Uemura’s eyeshadows. I used to think their shadows ain’t as pigmented as I would like them to be. And of course, price plays a part to my decision-making. But I guess, I should totally bin my memory and past thoughts of them. These 3 Pressed Eyeshadows completely wowwed me. I got the following P purple 781a sparkling pearl aubergine, ME blue 650a metallic denim blue and ME olive 471a metallic silver olive.

I also picked up 2 boxes of Partial Lower 01 false eyelashes. The lashes are weaved into a transparent band, giving them a much more natural and softer touch. It’s a real clever idea and I totally buy it. It will work for me as I do not always apply eyeliner on my bottom lash line.

Can’t wait to find out how these lashes will look on me!

Picked up two blushes while the BA was checking on my items. Glow On Blush in P pink 34pearl plum pink with cool undertone and P orange 55matte orange blush with warm undertone.

I totally felt into a death trap by tidying my makeup pouch, didn’t I?

    • Hello Sarah,
      Their shadows are expensive!!
It’s one of those “once in a blue moon” purchases.
When I took those pictures, I realised the orange blush look so different from at the counter, was a little worried I was given the wrong one BUT I used it yesterday, it changed colour after a brush swipe.
So, not pale at all =)
