It controls and absorbs oil without drying skin. It is also gentle enough for sensitive skin like mine. I have tried mineral makeup by others and one or two brands made me breakout but I still like the idea of using mineral makeup. It comes with a refill and the compact sold separately. Instead of a sponge applicator, this comes with a very soft angled brush. The angled brush is particularly good for corners of the nose and touch-ups. The packaging is light and handy, like any other compact foundation.

The coverage of this powder compactis very natural and sheer. Great if you have good skin with little to cover. If you need slightly more coverage, I suggest using a sponge applicator instead of the given brush.

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Powder Makeup did not breakout on me. I normally don’t use this foundation on its own. I use it for touch-ups because the texture is so fine and soft. It doesn’t cake nor alter my foundation shades. I no longer have to stock up on sponges as I can always wash the angled brush and use it again which is really great.

I normally don’t wash foundation sponge and I dispose them after a couple of months, say 3-4 months, depending on the usage as well. I feel that sponges trap dirt and oil more than brushes do.
