Sublime de Chanel Vs Diorshow Extase

SUBLIME DE CHANEL
WATERPROOF

For infinite length and curl. In its waterproof version, Sublime de Chanel is specially designed to meet the needs of Asian women. It transforms the lashes, lengthening and curling them to infinity.

The formula is waterproof and smudge-proof. Adapted to the hot and humid weather in Asian.

Usually, I avoid mascaras with a comb applicator but I made an exception for Sublime de Chanel because my trusted MA swear by it. I have been using this mascara for a good couple of weeks since I bought it in June and I am really impressed with the results.

It doesn’t smudge at all, even staying outdoors for hours. Not to mention the immaculate hold. Sublime de Chanel lengthens my lashes instantly. I use Shu Uemura’s Eyelash Curler prior to applying my mascara and the curl stays pretty much throughout the day.

If you are looking for a mascara that gives you the lengthening effect, and its waterproof and smudge-proof, this is the one for you.

Whenever I wear Sublime de Chanel, I know my mascara will not run even if I cry in the movies.
I love this carefree feeling.

DIORSHOW EXTASE

“Diorshow Extase dresses the eyes with the most extreme lash-by-lash volume.”

The House of Dior

For instant oversize volume, a blend of the spectacular plumping formula and an exclusive Couture brush, Diorshow Extase is the one for you.

A revolutionary formula with incredible plumping volume that glides over the lashes to coat them individually, one-by-one. Diorshow Extase is designed particularly to amplify lash volume and deliver deep intensity to the eyes.

Diorshow Extase added fullness to my lashes, no doubt about that. I am very satisfied with the plumping and volumising effect of this mascara. It’s not waterproof so I wear this only on selective days but don’t worry it doesn’t smudge.

It’s easy and fast to apply. Just a couple of strokes and I am done, it’s great for when I am in a rush and it’s natural.

Look using Diorshow Extase. I added one part of Shu Uemura Partial Soft Cross False Eyelashes at the tip of my lash. For more details of this look, click here >

Sublime de Chanel and Diorshow Extase are two mascaras with very different characters. One is for lengthening and curl, the other is for plumping and volume. There is no clear winner for this as I love both for its individual strengths. They both deliver great results and lived up to what it claims.

  1. I need to try sublime de chanel then, shame it’s only available in asia. I am currently loving YSL mascara singulier.

My pet hate about some mascara is actually the clumping or flaking.

I like mascara that has a glossy sheen.

  2. I would like to have Joey’s perfect mascara too 🙂 I m using Lancome’s now and I kind of like it. It adds volume and a bit of length to my very short N stuborn lashes… ..

My main concern for a mascara is 1) the smell 2) the formula, some mascara stinks my eyes cos I have sensitive eyes and wear hard lens, stinking mascaras are the last thing I want… ..
