Have been very occupied with all the new fall makeup launches recently and neglected my Inglot palettes. Finally, I made time to explore these beautiful shades. So, here it is – hope you like it.

I love pinks and purples but am always afraid to wear colours. Spoke to a friend a few months ago and he said “it’s either now or never Joey!” I totally get what he meant and he is right, I should really start wearing shades I like before I turn 60.

As usual, I started out using the lightest shade, 397 for the inner corners of my eyes. Then I went straight in with 482 on the outer corners of my eyes and right into the crease. I applied 487 in the middle of my lids to wow the crowd. Finished off with 434 to darken the edges and give my eyes a little  more definition. 434 also help tone down the purple so it’s not too shocking.

For my lower lash line, I went in with 482 3/4 way and 397 for the inner tear ducts. I also applied Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Eyes in 23L on my lower water line to brighten my eyes up, the colour is very similar to 397.

I picked a natural nude-pink blush and lips for this look, I didn’t want my cheeks and lips to be too loud or too pink.

Don’t be afraid to wear colours, take it a step at a time. I hope the looks I have done or am doing will show you how colours can be incorporated with browns and taupes to create a subtle burst of colour for your eyes, totally fun for all occasions.
