Guerlain Makeup Collection For Fall 2010

The last time I popped by a Guerlain counter was at DFS years ago. Then, I picked up their Meteorites Perles Light-Difussing  Perfecting Primer and the Meteorites Powder For The Face. I have never tried any of their coloured products before.

This fall, Guerlain’s collection totally wowed me, especially the Ecrin 6 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette. The packaging speak elegance, sophisticated, seduction and pure luxury to me.

I picked up 4 products from this collection.

The Ecrin 6 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette comes in 5 different combinations. Each retails at S$119 in Singapore. There is one palette for everyone and the colours are amazing. The squared hue acts as a pop to open any dull eyes and the long strip of dark colour at the end acts as an eyeliner.

It’s this one here. Initially I went Rue de Passy but it was out-of-stock so I got Champs-Elysees, the universal and legendary palette instead. At such a price tag per palette, I can’t really afford to get more. Was potentially interested in Rue de Sevres but I didn’t see it on display and I totally forgot about it.

The packaging is amazing. The magnetic, polished-metal casing have lace cut-outs and opens up to reveal the brush. Then, flip the mirror to your right to unfold the shadows. Too beautiful to even touch, finger prints!!

Next, I got the KissKiss Gloss Extreme Shine Radiant Colours (S$42) in Brown Sugar 848, a delicate and poetic beige.

And two Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick Compact (each retails at S$72) in Giny 13, a deep, sumptuous brown and Gwen 69, an intense and vibrant red. Packaging for the lipsticks are gorgeous but they are heavy tho. Not sure if I like the heavy packaging.

Thank you for looking.
