Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss

GLOSS WITH A NEW ALLURE

Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss accentuates its exceptional nature on first glance, presented in a refined black glass case with a gold trim.

Specially developed for Chanel, this flexible two-sided applicator delivers the ideal dose of gloss in a single application.

A CONCENTRATE OF SHINE AND COLOUR

Colorful and ultra-shiny: lips have never before indulged in such sensations with a gloss. Thanks to its high concentration of pigments, Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss offers amazingly intense, long-lasting colour with the first application. Its gel texture lights up the smile with pure, exceptional shine.

Chanel

I happen to stumble upon the launch of Chanel’s new Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss yesterday, how unfortunate. With my love for Chanel, I was immediately attracted to the display and started swatching all the 9 amazing shades on the back of my hand.

Managed to narrow down and picked up 4 colours I love most, will use most. They are #51 Insouciance, #52 Genie, #55 Confidence and #57 Insolence.

Above and below are some swatches taken indoor with flash.

Insouciance is a beige-nude colour with shimmer which can go with almost any coloured makeup, best with smoky eyes but it will also look just find if you go for a natural look. In fact, I think it will pair well with a bronze-chic look.

Genie is a bright pop of nectarine colour which can brighten up most skin tones, for example mine. It can be worn in a very classic yet modern way. Just imagine wearing this with a winged eye.

Confidence is a rosy pink colour with shimmer which looks a lot better when worn then swatched. It gives that instant warmth to my skin. It’s a much refined shade to wear on a daily basis, I would say.

Insolence is a bright pop of pink colour which is fun and cheerful to wear. It’s not a shocking pink, if you know what I mean. Instead, it’s very subtle and understated.

I am liking the ultra-smooth texture and shine of these glosses. One great thing about them is, they can be layered on top of one another for greater intensity and shine.

Yet to find out how lasting they are but these are worth a look if you haven’t already done so.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Tata.

  1. OMG, I was planning ( ok, not much planning, will be automatically must-have purchase since it’s Chanel ) to get Insouciance, Genie, Insolence as well.

I am in love with the colours since I came across them in other blogs.

Haven’t try them out personally yet.

Sounds like you love these lippies. Thanks for swatching them on your lips. Now I have the perfect excuse to get them. They looks great on your lips & skin tone.

    • I think you will like them..
And the shade range is pretty universal, lots of them are very wearable for all skin tones!!
Hopefully Chanel will come out with more colours soon..
Thank you for the sweet compliments David =)
      *blushing*

  2. You look soooooo pretty with #51 and #55!!! and your eye make up is stunning!! Tutorial plsss…. I feel like going out right now and grab them!!!!

  3. I ALMOST got one yesterday and then The Mother Of Reason *wink wink* stopped me and reminded me of my unopened Chanel glossimers. So i vowed to open a new glossimer this weekend and then I declared – I shall make sure I pick up something from the Chanel Holiday Collection!!! Hahahah

    • Lol.. You can take your time on these glosses!! I think they are brilliant tho, the shine and texture!! They last a bit longer than the Glossimers =) I am thinking of getting just one or two products from Chanel’s Holiday Collection but who knows?!

    • That’s what I realised =)
The consistency is thicker and slightly more sticky than the glossimers.
Instead of being on your lips, it’s in your lips, if you know what I mean.
