Have been a while since I have created a look with greens, so today it shall be. This is a very simple look to replicate. Simply follow the steps below if you wish to do so, you don’t even have to use the same products.
I started off by patting YSL’s Water-Resistant Eyeshadow in Golden Fern on my eye lids. Blend the edges to soften and apply Illamasqua’s Powder Eyeshadow in Moan. Moan is a powdery-matte olive-green colour. By layering a matte eyeshadow on top of a shimmering base, a “duo-tone 3 dimensional” hue will emerge. You can even use a black or brown base to create this effect.
To enhance the depth of my eyes, I used MAC’s Pigment in Bloodline, dry. I dipped my brush into the pot, picked up a little pigment and tap off the excess. Remember to do so when using pigments or any loose eyeshadows, fall outs are too messy to deal with especially when it’s a dark colour. Gently go along the outer corners of my eyes and into the crease.
I lined my eyes with a green liquid eyeliner on top and a green pencil eyeliner at the bottom. Smudged my bottom eyeliner with Moan. Try to smudge it slightly lower than usual to create the perfect soft, smoky eyes.
Applied MAC’s Mineralize Blush in Utterly Game under my cheekbones. It doubles up as a shading tool in this case. Also helped to slim down my face a little and defined my cheekbones.
Finish off with a creamy midtone taupe lipstick and gloss it up with a slightly pink-taupe tinted lipglass.
That’s it really, very simple and hope you like it.

I like the greens on your lids, and the sculpting of your cheeks; Those colours were so harmonious with each other.
May I suggest that you also post the pictures of all the products you use to create your FOTD? Using the 2×2 column format?
Thank you David!!
Pictures of products as in the all the products I used for my looks?
Yes, that can be done =)
Very nice look! Love the combination of colors on your eyes, and now I really want to get the Rosemary pencil (been seeing it at the counters, and the color & name is suckering me in) and also #36 lashes too.
Thank you Sopia!!
Not sure about the prices but Make Up Store’s Wooden Metal is very similar to MAC’s Rosemary & Thyme (to me at least).
#36 is very pretty!! Slightly brown-ish.. makes it kinda natural too =)
This is probably one of my fav look from your collection!!!! The colour combi is so unique 🙂 Dont think I will ever pair green with taupe lips, ever, if I never seen this post 😡 lol….
Thank you!!
You should give this combi a try yourself..
Joey, veryyy nice! Greens and purples look great on you! I think Genie gloss will also look fab with this eye combi ya?
Thank you Kas =)
I find it hard to pull of purples actually.. Remember UD Flash? I haven’t found a way to wear it.. Failed several times!!
Good suggestion, should have tried it with Genie too but I was too excited to try To Pamper!!
