Exploring Jurlique For Little Niece & Myself

“It is impossible to manufacture pure
skincare, that’s why we grow it instead.”
– Jurlique Founder Ulrike Klein

Did you know, Jurlique has their own farm located in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, growing over 35 different varieties of plants and flowers? Among them are lavender, rose, marshmallow, licorice and calendula which provide the potent blends within all Jurlique products.

I found my way to my very first purchase from them on one fine Saturday evening. A Sandalwood Hand Wash (S$38), a Moisture Replenishing Mask (S$140), a Chamomile Soothing Mist (S$60), a Body Exfoliating Gel (S$70) and 2 products for my little niece.

The Moisture Replenishing Mask certainly ain’t cheap. It’s a gentle purifying mask, rich in the living energy of soothing groomwell and sichuan peppercorn to clarify, hydrate and soothe. Leaves delicate skin feeling soft, pure and revitalised.

It has a rich, foamy clay base packed with minerals and natural ingredients. Feels refreshed and hydrated after masking.

I also tried Body Exfoliating Gel despite my peeling skin. It’s a skin smoothing exfoliating gel for the body, rich in herbal antioxidants and gentle walnut-shell to lift away dead skin cells and impurities to reveal smooth, soft and more radiant skin.

This is the first time I am trying a gel exfoliator. It is very different from all other scrubs I have used before. This one felt as tho there is no base, mainly beads, if you know what I mean. But of course, it’s bonded by a clear gel base. It doesn’t foam up or anything but it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It’s a very clean scrub.

Have you tried any products by Jurlique before?

    • Yes right?
Super tanned.. a little upset BUT I can work on tanned/bronze looks =)
Only after my skin has fully recovered tho, haven’t been applying makeup for a week now..
Glad to know you received your parcel so quick!!
      Yeah.

  1. Well, I guess you should try to do a look with Khaki Egerie with your tanned skin; Those shades of green & gold will look stunning on a bronzed complexion.

Back yo Jurlique, you should try its herbal recovery gel, very light yet nourishing. I like the Chamomile mist.

I am tempted to try its jasmine shower gel, and now the body exfoliating gel after reading your post; i like super grainy scrubs (for body).

You should try Aesop as well, another fine Aussie brand.

    • Will try a look using Khaki Egerie =)

Oh, I missed the Herbal Recovery Gel..
Will check it out next time I pop by!!
      Thank you for recommending..

If you like super grainy scrubs, you will like it..

      Yeap, I have tried Aesop..
Loving all these Aussie brands, their products are so pure and innovative..
Each has an unique touch and scent to it..
