MAC Venomous Villains Collection: Evil Queen

The vain Evil Queen from Snow White. Unleashed by Disney in 1937. Jean Harlow eyebrows. Joan Crawford’s face. She set the standard for glamorous depravity and made us all glad we don’t have a mirror that talks back.

MAC Cosmetics

I knew I had to get Bite Of An Apple Blush and Toxic Tale Satin Lipstick once I saw the swatches on Temptalia. For two reasons, the beautiful shades and the names.

Toxic Tale appears bright neon on my skin which is not a bad thing but I have not tried wearing it yet. Hopefully it’s not traffic stopping NEON on my slightly tanned skin at the moment. Bite Of An Apple Blush is a pretty and fresh coral-pink colour which brightens up my complexion instantly. I usually wear it with minimal makeup (so far).

So, here are the only two products I got from the Evil Queen. Did you get any of the Eyeshadows and/or Beauty Powder?

  1. Ah! I can’t believe you got your hands on bite of an apple. I got to the shops on the launch day and was 15 mins late and it was all soldout already! And it was sold out in 20 minutes of the web launch which was a few days later! I’m jealous! 😀

But toxic tale is awesome. I luurrrve it a lot! xx

  2. I haven’t used my Toxic Tale yet! I got the Strange Potion lipgloss too – I really like how ‘soft’ that shade looks. And now, I’m thinking of the Viva Glam Cyndi lipgloss 😛

  3. Apply Bite of an apple onto the apple of your cheek, such a cheesy name! I agree with you, I will buy this for the sake of it’s name – coral pink, I wonder how it really is when compared to other coral pink blushers ( which will be at least one from every major brand )
