A sumptuous colour collection of tempting chocolates and rich fuchsias, perfect for the holiday season.
Chanel
Chanel is second in line, after Dior to launch their Holiday Makeup Collection 2010. Initially, I wasn’t very interested with this collection. All the products didn’t quite captured my attention until I saw the promotion picture above. And as what Chanel suggested, the words “tempting chocolates” melted my heart entirely.
I have chosen 4 products from this collection and they are Les 4 Ombres in Tentation Cuivree, Rouge Coco in Patchouli and Magnolia and Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Splash.
I think Les 4 Ombres in Tentation Cuivree is not a must-have. So, why did I pick it up? All because of the promotion picture. Seriously, if there were no pictures of the model wearing it, I wouldn’t have gotten it. Yet to try them on myself but I am hoping to achieve the desired look I have in mind with this quad.

Once I saw the Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Splash, I knew it will be mine. I am totally head-over-heels with these type of colours and I like how lightweight this product is.
Lastly, I got both the Rouge Coco in Patchouli and Magnolia. I am in love with Rouge Coco. If I can, I will get every single shade available but of course, that’s not possible. I am collecting them slowly and hopefully own a wide range of colours eventually.

Le Vernis in Pulsion seems ordinary to me so I didn’t get it. The Glossimers didn’t get anywhere near either simply because I am more of a lipstick person I guess and I didn’t get the Blush Duo Tweed Effect in Tweed Fuchsia because I have Pink Explosion from Les Contrastes de Chanel Collection.
Overall, I like this collection and I think you should pick up either Splash or one of the Rouge Cocos as a treat-to-self.
Thank you for reading.
Great haul! I love taupe shades like Splash too but I don’t use them ofte. I always single out such colour when I choose fm a range of cols. I also like the texture of splash but for now, I am not getting near yet another Taupe. I hope I stick to it LOL.
Splash is not super unique so I think you can pass that for now..
Lol..
Good luck Farah =)
I don’t need luck, I am so weak LOL! I went to try this today under the e/s quad(I love the browns in it too much). All resolve crumble.
