NARS Makeup Collection For Holiday 2010 & More

The Holiday 2010 Color Collection is brazenly mesmerizing. Eyes smolder in Okinawa Eye Shadow, a striking triad of black onyx, silver and cobalt blue. Dangerously sensual: Sex Appeal Blush and Little Darling Lipstick. Up the edge factor with very berry Bougainville Lip GLoss and lavender-glided Downtown Lip Gloss. Glitz up and go.

NARS

A dear friend of mine helped me purchased a couple of items from NARS from Hong Kong. Thank you Bek. Amongst them are the Mélusine Duo Eyeshadow and Sex Appeal Blush from this collection.

“In folklore, a mélusine was a feminine yet free-spirited woman. Similarly, this duo eyeshadow is an ultra-modern union of two colors working in harmony.” – NARS

“You either have it, or…you can get it. For foolproof contouring, work this soft peach blush under the cheekbone for depth; then apply upward at temples and blend.” – NARS

And a couple of other items. I got a bottle of Orgasm Nail Polish, Sex Machine Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and two Eyeshadows in Bali and Tropic.

Very excited to try them on myself. Did you manage to pick any of the nail polishes from this collection? Apparently, Bad Influence was sold out and you know me, I love smokey taupes so I might end up hunting this nail polish down.

Thank you for reading.

    • To be honest, I have not tried it yet BUT I do agree with you after seeing swatching of it online..
Well.. can’t do anything cos I have no chance of swatching before buying..
However, I like the name =)
      Lol..

  1. Do review the matte lip pencil. I think it was the col you bought that I swatched. I love it but I am more a lipgloss girl. Still, I am thinking abt it.

    & a great Nars haul!

Psst add me on twitter so you can read my comments? Name is farahdean on twitter.

  2. NARS is lovely. I have Bad Influence – picked it up recently. It’s a pretty colour but you can get a similar shade with OPI’s You Don’t Know Jacques.
