Am sure you have noticed the OPI Katy Perry Collection on display at Metro, Robinsons and various other online stores. I found out about this stunning collection from Sophia – Nails Story: Fun with Shattered Nails & Sarah – OPI Shatter.
From left to right, we have; Last Friday Night, Not Like The Movies, The One That Got Away, Teenage Dream and Black Shatter. I bought Not Like The Movies and of course, Black Shatter and Tease-y Does It which isn’t from this collection.
The fun begins when applying a coat of Black Shatter over any completely dry nail polish. It gives a “shattered” texture instantly. All you need is really, a thin coat, nothing more and it dries super fast. It dries matte but I prefer adding a top coat for a glossy finish.
Not Like The Movies is a silvery blue/green and a touch of pink? The texture is smooth and easy to apply but it is not totally opaque under the light. May have to paint up to 3 coats for better coverage.
Tease-y Does It is a deep wine colour with berry/gold reflects. Pretty vampy if you ask me.
Are you getting your hands on Black Shatter?
If you already have, what are you pairing Black Shatter with? Traffic stopping brights? Are you wearing it matte or glossy?

I got Black Shatter too but I find I need to practice – I tend to apply it too thickly down the centre of the nail and it doesn’t shatter well. I finally got my hands on Teasey Does It and Sparkle-iscious. I passed over Not Like the Movies but now I’m in 2 minds!
Me too, it drys super quickly, gotta apply fast!!
I have the same problem as you too..
To be honest, I am not liking Tease-y Does It as much as I would love to =(
