Guerlain Makeup Collection For Spring 2011 & More

For Spring 2011, Guerlain came up with a series of playful colours such as, bright pinks, corals, reds and fuchsias. This collection consist of the Meteorites Compact, limited edition Rouge G Serie Noire, limited edition Blush G Serie Noire and limited edition Ecrin 6 Couleurs Eyeshadow in Rue de Rivoli.

I got 3 items from Guerlain during the TANGS Sale with 12% rebate.

Frist off, we have the Blush G – Série Noire – retails at S$71. A mix of 4 complementary translucent and natural shades. Each of these 4 shades have a subtle pink for a natural blush undertone and it’s created to highlight the complexion. When Rouge G becomes a powder, Guerlain invents the most luxurious of blushes. Energised orange, intense fuchsia, delicate pink and pearly pink – four shades that make your cheeks flush pink. These healthy glow boosters harmonise perfectly to revive the complexion and give it energy and vitality.

Next, I bought a Ombre Éclat 1 Shade Eyeshadow in 187 L’instant D’un Soupir – retails at S$50. Who can resist the colour of this wide range of original and unique shades? These high-technology eyeshadows create an impeccable finish leaving the eyes velvety, pearly or sparkling. Easy to apply, their ultra-soft powder formula, enriched with a silicon talc and mica treated with amino acids, creates an even veil of colour over the eyelid. Colour hold is perfect and the sensation is wonderful.

And lastly, I got myself the Météorites Compact in 02 Teint Beige – retails at S$100. The Météorites Compact is the first mattifying, light creating pressed powder – for a perfectly matte yet naturally radiant complexion. It’s fine, ultra-light and imperceptible correcting powder delivers radiance in its purest form thanks to light itself. It comes in 3 shades and I am using the middle shade. The packaging is really light and handy, great for bringing it out everyday.

Don’t leave home without it.

Have you tried Guerlain’s Météorites before? What are your thoughts about them?
