Look In Printed Pinks & Precious Posy

Spring brings about a fresh starts and many new possibilities. This Spring, add a sense of adventure to your makeup routine and try out different looks on yourself. Being diverse with your makeup can help you look different each time so you can surprise your friends and even yourself with your new looks!

A natural-looking look featuring Clinique Pretty In Prints Compact and Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour SPF 12 in Mod Pink. This look is very fresh, clean, modern and feminine – great for all occasions especially if you are makeup shy. The colours are flattering and depending on application, it accentuate our features.

For face: I have chosen Make Up For Ever HD Primer in #2 to prep my skin and reduce any redness coming through. I didn’t want anything too heavy as a foundation, Cle de Peau BEAUTE Refining Fluid Foundation is perfect for this instance, giving enough coverage to even up my skin tone yet it’s not too heavy for this look. I set the foundation with some loose powder and lightly dust Guerlain Meteorites Compact in Teint Beige all over for a more radiant finish.

For eyes: I applied the nude shade under my brow bones as a highlighter and the pink shade on the eye lids. Then I applied the brown shade at the outer corners and along the crease. I applied a dark brown eyeliner and smudge it with the dark brown shade to soften the harsh line. To finish off the eyes, I added some Shu Uemura False Eyelashes in Natural Volume 01. I experienced some fall out during eyeshadow application, I suggest either using an eye primer to hold the shadows or set your foundation after applying the shadows.

For cheeks & lips: Absolutely loving the Precious Posy blush which comes in the palette. It’s a gorgeous pink with hint of gold, gives the perfect flash of natural glowing cheeks. I added a pop of pink to the lips by using Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour in Mod Pink.

Thank you for reading, hope you are enjoying the weekend!!

    • Thank you David =)
Hmm, still exploring ways to wear the new BB lipsticks but I love how pigmented they are..
I find them a little drying tho..
Also liking the satin finish of these lipsticks..
      How about you?

  1. I got mine in heather pink, but I haven’t got a chance to try it out yet because I had misplaced it ( or lost it ) during my travel recently. I am trying hard to track it down, if not, I may have to repurchase it.

Yes, this lipstick is really pigmented when I swatched it over my hand.
Oh, I am currently in love with Chanel Coco Shine.

    • Oh dear, what a waste..
Heather Pink is one of the more popular shades, bet it’s gonna look lovely..
I just can’t wait for the Chanel Coco Shine to be released!!

  2. Hi Joey, David 😉
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is great. Very balmy, but not so pigmented and didn’t last long.
I wear it when I just want a luminous and fresh look.
It has been released last week in Paris but I still haven’t seen the Bobbi Brown 😦
