MAC Jeanius Collection

JEANIUS

Jeanius is a celebration of the journey America made a national obsession. M∙A∙C keeps up with a Jeanius collection of moody blues and indigo ink, the quantum of modern cool, with four new limited-life denimized Eye Shadows, Lipglass, Blush and Biker Blue Nail Lacquer. Completely riveting.

MAC Cosmetics

I picked up 2 Nail Lacquer from the Jeanius Collection while I was in KL.

We all got to agree that MAC is going way too fast with too many collections? Amongst all the new collections and new products MAC released recently – Wonder Women, Cremeblend Blush, Sheen Supreme Lipstick, Viva Glam Gaga II and the latest, Quite Cute and Primed For Perfection (yet to check them out) – I am only picking out those missing in my kit and those I am liking. So, nothing else really caught my attention other than these two nail polishes. But I may revisit them when I redeem my vouchers. If you follow me on Twitter, you would have known that I got S$400 MAC vouchers to spend, any suggestions?

Frost Nail Lacquer in Biker Blue and Matte Nail Lacquer in Frayed To Order.

Accordingly to MAC, Biker Blue has a black base with purple and blue pearl and Frayed To Order is a white matte with soft pink duochrome pearl. They are not over-the-top unique shades and I am liking Biker Blue quite a lot because I don’t have many dark blues in my collection. For Frayed To Order, I think it was a mistake picking it up. It’s too difficult to apply.

Swatches above taken indoor with flash. Both with no base nor top coat. 2 coats of Biker Blue and 3 coats of Frayed To Order.

Did you pick anything up from this collection? I thought the blushes were beautiful =)

  1. Wanted the paler pink blush but resisted. Biker Blue is gorgeous, wanted to pick up in HK(was there when they launch) but resisted again. Today after dinner, I went to pick it up. Resistance is futile. Love your nails BTW!

  2. Biker blue is the only one I like from this collection. I find that M.A.C recent collections have lost their charms.
