Hello everyone, how’s Monday looking? It’s dark and gloomy where I am at the moment, hope it will brighten up soon before I head out for my late lunch. Can’t believe the weekend went by so fast. Felt like I didn’t do much – good or bad? Am listening to Rainy Days by Late Night Alumni while writing this post. Love her voice.

Went for a friend’s baby shower last night and I finally wore Boy out for the first time. I am refering to the new Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, Boy. I bought five of them, more about these amazing lipsticks later this week.

Took a couple of pictures when I got home late last night which explains the shine peeping through around the T-zone and cheeks. A very simple look with minimal makeup. Foundation, filled in my brows, some false eyelashes, blush and lipstick. I was wearing Benefit Bella Bamba. It smells so good, I want it as a perfum. Benefit, please come up with a fragrance after Bella Bamba.

Couldn’t resist the beauty of this blush, took more photos while we were out. It’s such a natural blushing shade with gorgeous sheen.

I wore a dress from ASOS paired with a white tube inside. A pair of Hush Puppies sandals, my everyday Prada bag and Tiffany & Co. bracelet.

When I got home, I started playing with some lipsticks. Trying out the striking colours and new lipsticks I bought recently. Below are some brief swatches, will be doing a few looks with them soon. I am loving Illamasqua Lipstick in Atomic. It’s opaque, creamy and pigmented. It is not as drying nor matte as compared to their older formulas. MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Good To Go is super creamy as the name suggests. The colour is pretty true to tube but I feel that it’s way too buttery, makes application a little difficult.

I picked up Illamasqua Lipstick in Sangers together with the Illamasqua Toxic Nature Collection and I love it. It’s a gorgeous blood red. And lastly, we have Illamasqua Lipstick in Wanton – love the name, makes me hungry. This shade is a little drying as compared to Atomic and Sangers. If you have dry lips like mine, it will show.
