Back with more shoppings from Hong Kong for you this evening. I was at iSquare for a movie and before the movie started, we were exploring the new shopping mall. We were at Log-On and I happen to stumble upon Dolly Wink False Eyelashes. I am all new to this brand and the colourful packaging stood out from the bunch. So, a couple of them came home with me.
I also picked up a Volume Mascara and a Long Mascara. No pictures of the wand at the moment because I am not ready to use them. Check out reviews of the Volume Mascara here and the Long Mascara here. Seems like everyone is liking them. Both mascaras cost HKD125 each which works out to be approximately S$21.
I have seen Dolly Wink Eyeshadow Palettes and Nail Polishes at local drugstores but I am not sure if these false eyelashes are still available. According to Andy Lee’s blog here, he mentioned the Dolly Wink False Eyelashes were exclusive to Watsons Ngee Ann City and it was all sold out within a week. Remember to keep a look out for them if you are there next time. Will update accordingly if I manage to find them.
Let’s take a closer look at I have got. I picked up No.1 Dolly Sweet, No.2 Sweet Girly and 2 packs of No.4 Feminine Style.
Some bottom lashes too, 2 packs of No.5 Real Nude, No.6 Baby Cute and No.8 Pure Little.
All of them have invisible lash band which reminds me a little of MAC False Eyelashes. Each pack contains 2 pairs of false eyelashes, an instruction booklet and a tube of glue. Each pack costs HKD95 which is about S$16 and it works out to be approximately S$8 per pair. Good deal or what? I have read so many great reviews about these lashes and I shall try them this weekend.
It’s a day to another long weekend, thank you for reading.
Wow! I din get any dollywink fake lashes on my recent trip but I was seduced by their long mascara. Bought 2 of them as I tried it while I’m in hk n fall in love with it. Dun put too much hope in it’s curling power but it fare very well for lengthening! Btw sg selling it for 29.9.
Thank you Sizbelle for the update on SG price..
So, it’s cheaper in HK!!
I can’t wait to try the mascaras and eyelashes, wonder how they will look and feel =)
What a haul of fake lashes! My sister is really into DollyWink make-up and raves about them non-stop – and something about them being made in Japan really makes a big difference to things I guess. I’m fairly sure you’ll love the lashes as my sister believes that they are suitable for asian eyes. 😀
Aw, thank you Jenni for sharing your sister’s thoughts on them lashes.
More reasons to try them sooner!!
