A look featuring Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Silk Eyeshadow in #2 Lust Red. It’s a pretty deep and dark look but the shade, Lust Red is ultra pretty and mega long-lasting. Great for parties or events.
For face: I have chosen to use the entire Make Up For Ever HD range for this look to create a flawless canvas. Pardon me, my skin is not in its best conditions lately due to the late nights and stress. I started off with the HD Elixir than HD Primer followed by the HD Foundation and HD Concealer. Finish off with the HD Powder.
For eyes: I went in straight with Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Silk Eyeshadow in #2 Lust Red without any primer. You can use either a clear or black base like MAC Greasepaint Stick in Slick Black to further enhance or darken the shade. I don’t think Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill requires a base to keep it going because it already lasts throughout the day without any. I applied Lust Red on my entire lid and blend towards the crease. I used a little Sweet Fire towards the end of Lust Red, just to blur out the edges and blend it upwards, to the brow bone. This gives a lovely gradiation effect. Tightline the upper and lower lashline with a black eyeliner. Add on some false eyelashes and the eyes are done.
For cheeks & lips: I used Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Colour in WT 905 to highlight the cheekbones and Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel in 607 Terre D’Or to sculpt them. I used MAC Satin Powder Blush in Her Blooming Cheek on the apples to add some colour. I have chosen a subtle pink lip colour to complete this look.
Hope you like it and thank you for reading.

I was googling around for Lust Red and after going thru a few pages of the search results, finally, an EOTD by a Chinese, and so close to home!
It’s a lovely look you’ve got here. I’m not sure if I can pull off such a dark, dramatic colour. Do you think Lust Red can be worn more subtly as a casual day look? Did you use brush or finger to apply and blend the ETKs? Do you think one can use a powder eye colour (instead of another ETK) to blur out the edge of Lust Red?
Hi Hannah,
Welcome and thank you..
I used a brush to apply Lust Red and I think you can easily find a similar shade from other brands!!
IMO, GA ETK Lust Red is not worth getting, too much fall outs and the glitter flies everywhere =(
Oh, that’s such a shame… I’m looking for an unique/unusual colour for my 1st ETK and thought Lust Red would be the one. If you can only have one, which ETK would you get?
Hi Hannah,
I think #3 Purpura and #4 Pulp Fiction are quite interesting as well =)
If you like neutrals, #5 Gold Blitz is amazing..
