“This new formula gives you quick, perfect coverage. It’s rich and creamy without being thick – so it goes on easily and blends smoothly with minimal effort.”
BOBBI’S TAKEN HER NUMBER ONE BEAUTY SECRET AND MADE IT EVEN BETTER.
Reformulated to deliver perfect coverage, the new Correctors and Creamy Concealers erase dark circles as only Bobbi Brown can.
BOBBI’S SECRET OF THE UNIVERSE
Bobbi believes that the secret to covering dark circles lies in a unique two-step approach. She starts with pink or peach toned Corrector to brighten and neutralize the purple and green tones of under eye circles.
For pale skin, she recommends the lighter Corrector shades starting with Porcelain Bisque. For deeper skin tones, she recommends the Medium to Dark Bisque and peach shades. Next Bobbi uses yellow toned Creamy Concealer to lighten and blend the under eye area with the rest of the face.
TIPS TO LOOK INSTANTLY REFRESHED
1. CORRECT IT
Correctors provides extra coverage for very dark circles. The Corrector is designed to be layered under your yellow based Creamy Concealer for that skin tone perfect coverage. Choose from a variety of 12 different shades for a perfect match.
2. CONCEAL IT
The creamy consistency of this yellow based Concealer goes on smoothly, providing full and natural looking coverage. The formula is filled with skin conditioning ingredients which helps moisturize and provides antioxidant protection to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
3. THE FINISHING TOUCH
Bobbi’s sheer pressed powder sets your Concealer so it will last for longer. Always use pale yellow powder to set your Concealer. The only exception: Porcelain Concealer should be set with its coordinating white powder.
Information above are gathered from various sources and Bobbi Brown’s website. I hope they are helpful in some ways. Apart from introducing the newly re-formulated Correctors and Creamy Concealers, I would also like to share my views of the old and new Creamy Concealer Kits.
I have been using Bobbi Brown’s concealers for many years and I like them a lot. But do note that I don’t have very dark circles to conceal and I do not need a corrector. I am using the shade Warm Beige for both concealers. Let me list down some obvious facts and differences between the both.
OLD Creamy Concealer Kit
contains 1.7g of Creamy Concealer, made in USA
contains 0.8g of Sheer Finish Loose Powder, made in Italy
comes in a double-decker jar like container with mirror
feels oiler and heavier on the skin
NEW Creamy Concealer Kit
contains 1.4g of Creamy Concealer, made in USA
contains 1.7g of Sheer Finish Pressed Powder, made in USA
comes in a flat compact with mirror
feels extremely lightweight
sets and blends into the skin flawlessly
The new Creamy Concealer Kit came just in time as my old one is finishing soon. Both formulas go under the eyes smoothly and evenly without caking nor streaking. They are extremely easy to blend. I use a brush to apply the concealer on areas of concern and blend with either a sponge or my fingers.
I prefer the new Creamy Concealer Kit because of the packaging and slight differences in the formula. I hardly ever use the loose powder from the old kit because it’s messy and the lid is hard to open. I can only foresee my nails breaking from trying to open the lid. The new kit comes in so much handier, slim and compact. It also allows me to fully utilize the pressed powder.
I would recommend the NEW Creamy Concealer Kit to anyone who wants to conceal minor undereye circles or puffiness. It’s lightweight, feels as if I have no concealer on and it doesn’t crease. Because it contains moisturizing properties, my undereye area feels hydrated and lines are less visible. It stays on all day and it comes in a handy, portable compact casing – great for traveling as well as bringing it out in your makeup pouch.
The Corrector is available in 12 shades and the Creamy Concealer is available in 14 shades, both retails at S$41. You can also purchase the Creamy Concealer Kit which comes with Pressed Powder at S$59.
