Candide Garden From Givenchy Naivement Couture Collection & More

The last time I checked, nothing I want from Givenchy is available at our local Isetan Scotts counter. Apparently, they are not bringing in anything from their Naivement Couture Collection For Spring 2011 except the lip products. I could be wrong but that’s what the BA told me after several phone calls and visits. I have not checked BHG because I don’t usually shop there. So if you are looking forward to this collection, I suggest you divert your attention to getting them at the airport. Prices are cheaper too.

[UPDATE: I saw Le Prisme Yeux – Quatuor in Candide Garden 78 at Sephora ION today – 14 Jun 2011, they have stock, retails at S$80+]

First of all, I have been wanting this palette ever since I saw the promotional pictures. The Le Prisme Yeux – Quatuor in Candide Garden 78. It contains 4 x 1g of eyeshadow and it’s selling at S$65.50.

If you are not familiar with the Le Prisme Yeux Quatuor by Givenchy, here is a short introduction about them I extracted from user guide.

Its an icon in four domes, four colours, to multiply your eye makeup looks to infinity. With a satiny or shimmering finish, refined tone on tone effects or subtle contrasts, all of the shades harmonize together however you want in duos, trios quartets or even solo. Discover the secrets of a must-have product.

Composed by Nicolas Degennes, Makeup and Colour Director, Le Prisme is a set of two shadows, a base and a highlighter, to let you endlessly play with effects and give a free rein to your creativity.

Next item I bought is the new Photo’Perfexion Light in Light Sand 3. It’s an Evanescent Fluid Foundation which promises to give a 100% Natural Complexion – 0 Flaw and contains SPF 10. It comes in a 30ml tube with a sponge applicator attached at the bottom and it retails at S$59.50.

It’s described as a magical effect of a virtual eraser to recreate, within mere seconds, a thoroughly transparent, fresh and natural complexion on their website. Shall find out how that can be done soon.

Couldn’t have paired it with anything else other than Givenchy’s very own and award-winning Prisme Libre in Soft White 5 which is a Loose Powder Quartet Air Sensation. It contains 20g of product and retails at S$65.50.

I have always been interested with Givenchy’s collections and products but due to the slow local releases, it’s very hard to be keep up. I am sorry, I haven’t had time to swatch the eyeshadow palette yet but I am looking forward to using it in my upcoming Look.

Have you tried any of Givenchy’s foundations before?
