I redeemed my Sephora vouchers mid last month and it’s about time to use them before it expires – vouchers are only valid for a month from redemption date. Popped by Sephora ION earlier this week and got several items from Sephora Collection. Used up all my vouchers and here’s what I got.
Replenished the Instant Moisture Mask (reviewed here) at S$17 and got a bottle of Triple Action Cleansing Water to try. It’s pretty interesting, the cleanser comes with a dispensing pump nozzle.
Next, I stocked up on two of my favourite I.T. Brushes – #235 Cream Shadow (S$28) and #111 Natural Foundation (S$45). Got #131 Angled Natural Brush (S$39) to try.
I like using #235 Cream Shadow as an under-eye concealer brush, it also works well for applying cream bases on the lids and blending the edges. #111 Natural Foundation is a great brush for applying powder foundation, the brush is dense and soft. I like using it as a blush brush tho – perfect fit for the cheek bones.
Have not tried #131 Angled Natural Blush yet. Shall post an update soon.
The Jumbo Liner 12Hr Wear Waterproof got me interested too. I picked 3 of them in 02 Silver, 04 Taupe and 14 Violet. Each of them retails at S$17.
This is a collection of jumbo eye pencils that can be used as eyeliners or blended out as eyeshadows.
They claim to be resistant to water, heat and humidity – sounds perfect for the environment here in Singapore. They are also formulated with exclusive waxes and pigments to assure maximum colour intensity that stays put for 12 hours.
These pencils immediately reminded me of Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils but creamier and softer. They don’t dry so quickly either. Yet to test their lasting power and whether if they are crease resistant too.
Swatches above taken indoor without flash and below taken indoor with flash.
The silver is super intense and bright. No doubt, I am liking the taupe. I actually picked up the violet by mistake, I was after purple – which is a deep eggplant.
