Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Quad In Black Honey

Last but not least, I have the Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Quad in Black Honey from The New Black Makeup Collection for you today. It retails at S$57 and it contains 4.8g of product, made in USA. Available at all Clinique counters island wide.

Out of the 3 limited edition products from the collection, this eyeshadow quad seems to be the least interesting to me. I believe it’s due to the shades in this quad – the colours are not entirely unique and can be easily found else where. But that’s just me because I have quite a collection of neutrals and browns.

Despite the lack of uniqueness in the colours, the quality is amazing. They are very smooth, silky and pigmented. All swatches below are swatched with fingers without any primer. I love how these eyeshadows blend together seamlessly and effortlessly. It’s really quick and easy to create smoky eyes with it and I did not experience any fall out during application either.

The Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Quad in Black Honey consists of 4 wearable shades, ranges from shimmery champagne to deep seal brown with golden reflects.

Personally, I find the 3rd shade most intricate – resembles the unique Black Honey hue very closely and it does swatch alike to the Clinique Gradient Powder Blusher in 01 Black Honey (reviewed here).

Overall, the Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Quad in Black Honey have amazing quality at an affordable price tag. I would recommend it to anyone who wears neutrals on a day-to-day basis because the colours are suitable for work and you can bring your look from day to night easily with the darker colours.

Hope this post helped, thank you for reading.
