On the first night of shopping in Sydney, I popped by MYER and saw the Yves Saint Laurent Jardin de Minuit Makeup Collection for Fall 2011. The new Blush Radiance totally captured my heart and soul. I am so glad I got to swatch them over the counter because the shades that I initially set my eyes on are all too light for me. I picked up Blush Radiance in N°6 together with two Long-Lasting Nail Lacquer in 43 Wintergreen and 44 Moonlight Blue.
The Blush Radiance contains 4g of product, made in France and retails at AUD72 (about S$92) – insane right? What was I thinking? Oh well, I shall not think about it. Each Long-Lasting Nail Lacquer contains 10ml of product, made in France and retails at AUD39 (about S$50). Again, I shall not think about the price.
I will be reviewing these products later this week including more pictures and swatches of them.
Did you pick up any items from this collection?
That blush is absolutely stunning!
The blush is lovely!!
Review up tomorrow =)
This YSL blush looks really pretty! Such a vibrant pink!
Hi Jess,
Yes, it brightens up my skin tone =)
I bought blush #4 which at first I thought would be too light even on my fairly pale skin but it did show up as a soft and lovely pale pink. Doesn’t scream “blusher!” but does add gentle color to balance the rest of your makeup. I also bought blush #6 which is a beautiful rose. The eyeshadow with 5 colors is gorgeous for green eyes or anyone who wears purples and greens and likes some glimmer. I love it. Lastly, I got the most purple lipstick with the collection, a Perle type which is very dark but I plan to tweek it by patting some on the edges of my lips with my finger, then adding a rose color in the center of the lips and blending the edges of the two colors with a lip brush. Could add a dab of gloss in the center of the lower lip for evening, if desired. This collection is a winner for me!
Hi Genevieve,
Wow, great haul =)
