Two Items From Burberry Beauty, Can You Guess What?

Hello everyone, how was the weekend? I haven’t got anything planned and I just felt like staying at home.

Anyway, in the post, I would like to share with you two things I bought from Burberry while I was in Sydney. Late last year, there were rumours Burberry Beauty will be coming to Singapore in January 2011 but no news since. When I bummed into Burberry Beauty in Sydney, I couldn’t resist.

I bought a Sheer Eyeshadow and a Lip Cover. Retails at AUD49 and AUD45 respectively – Singapore is cheaper.

While at the counter, I swatched every eyeshadow shade and almost every blush too. The texture of the eyeshadows are smooth and colour payoff is excellent. The Lip Covers have a very creamy consistency, I would say they have a pretty opaque coverage – smooth and easy to apply. The blushers are beautiful but if I can remember correctly, each of them cost about AUD70 so I didn’t get one but I might at TANGS. Jessie, Nicole and I were all very attracted to the magnetic packaging these makeup comes in – sleek, modern and classy.

The BA at Burberry (MYER Bondi, Sydney) is super friendly and her product knowledge is immaculate. I wish we can have more BAs like her in Singapore who actually knows what they are selling. I was also given a sample of Burberry’s newest fragrant – BODY.

Burberry Beauty is now available at TANGS Orchard. Head over to My Beauty Hoard to check out their soft launch, Jacqueline has also posted a series of her Burberry purchases – drooling all over at her fabulous picks. Check out the beautiful swatches at Shine, Shimmer & Sparkle, Kasthuri also shared her thoughts about the makeup line and what’s got her excited.

Shall reveal what I picked from Burberry real soon. Thank you for reading.

  1. Rosewood is gorgeous, you should also try Khaki & Trench.

Joey, although the blush may seems expensive, but IMO, worthy every penny! Even the usually small, user unfriendly & pathetic brush that comes with make up product doesn’t apply to Burberry Beaute. I had been using the brush enclosed & it gives professional finish just like other proper brushes. I personally loves Tangerine & Misty Pink.

I went swatch crazy in Harrods.

    • Ok, if I end up buying Rosewood, I shall blame you too..
I will also keep a look out at their blushes after hearing what you mentioned =)
I think I will go swatch crazy too..
