Some NARS From Their Fall 2011 Makeup Collection

Three items from NARS Fall Collection (more information of the collection here) – I bought Trio Eyeshadow in Delphes, Duo Eyeshadow in Grand Palais and Single Eyeshadow in Outremer. I had them with me for a little while, in Q for photo taking and use plus a little admiring in between – that probably explains this late post. Have also been rather kept up with new makeup last couple of weeks.

I didn’t pick up any lip products although I must say, Lipstick in Pago Pago, Pure Matte Lipstick in Montego Bay and Mascate and Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu are super attractive. You know I have a thing with the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, don’t you? I have Bettina, Sex Machine, Dolce Vita and Red Square reviewed here and worn Bolero in this look here. I guess it’s the recent disappointment in Bolero that has put me off getting any Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – I totally forgot to swatch Train Bleu when I was in Sydney.

Anyway, I am totally in love with Grand Palais. Texture of Outremer can be better and if you are a shimmer lover, you will probably like Delphes but don’t expect the trio to provide excellent colour payoff.

More photos, swatches and thoughts of them coming soon.

Thank you for reading.

    • I think Delphes is a disappointment but really pretty in a way!!
      A FOTD?
      Hehe..
Why not? We can share the different application methods with the readers..
How should we go about doing it?

      • Well, i am waiting for my delivery, once it’s here, I will let you know and you could choose which product you want to feature first, and we will come up with a theme for the look we create & style ourselves into that particular theme. Any other suggestion?

  1. I picked up Outremer and I really like it but the texture takes some time to blend. Definitely a different shade though. I’m curious to know how you would wear it. Looking forward 🙂
