Dior Les Rouges Nail Collection

Dior released a nail polish collection featuring the iconic and classic reds seen on the runway since 1955 called Les Rouges. Find out what inspired this collection on British Beauty Blogger here.

This trio consists of 747 Trafalgar, 837 Gruau and 862 Icône. Each bottle retails at S$35, contains 10ml of product, made in France. This limited edition Les Rouges Nail Collection is exclusively available at Isetan Scotts.

It was truly a pleasant surprise seeing this collection has made their way to Singapore. I was hoping to see the Gris City Nail Collection beginning of this year but sadly, no news. When I learnt about Les Rouges, I kind of didn’t expect Dior Singapore will bring in but of course, I was wrong.

Let’s take a look at these colours.

First, we have 747 Trafalgar. A bright poppy red with cream finish.

Swatched with Essie First Base Base Coat, 3 layers of nail polish and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

837 Gruau, a deep carmine red with cream finish.

And lastly, we have 862 Icône. A deep burgundy red with shimmer.

One more look at the set of timeless beauty. From left, 837 Gruau, 747 Trafalgar and 862 Icône.

I love red nail polishes and although these shades are not terribly unique, their quality, consistency and texture makes up for it. They are elegant and sophisticated. Most importantly, I find all the three shades complement my skin tone very well.

It’s hard to just pick one but if I have to, it would probably be 747 Trafalgar – I love vibrant reds, I feel that it brightens up my skin tone instantly and it feels fresh and sharp wearing it. More swatches and comparison on The Beauty Look Book.

Do you like red nail polishes? Which is your favourite?

Thank you for reading.

  1. I am a sucker for a beautiful red. The only issue I have with the color is that it is such a pain that it stains your nails. I wonder if you had that problem.

These are so beautiful, time to pop by Chanel.
